De resultaten bieden een onafhankelijke en op bewijs gebaseerde basis voor gesprekken met de lokale politie en beleidsmakers om maatregelen te implementeren ter verbetering van de verkeersveiligheid.&quot;\u201c<\/p>\n<p>\u201c&quot;Abu Dhabi ontwikkelt zich tot een fietsvriendelijke stad en dit initiatief pakt niet alleen directe veiligheidsproblemen aan, maar draagt ook bij aan het bredere doel om fietsen te integreren als een duurzaam en toegankelijk vervoermiddel binnen de stad,&quot; zei hij.<\/p>\n<p>De VAE en de ADCC werken aan maatregelen om de veiligheid van de fietsinfrastructuur in stedelijke en interstedelijke gebieden te verbeteren. Zo is Abu Dhabi bijvoorbeeld de eerste &#039;fietsvriendelijke stad&#039; in het Midden-Oosten geworden. De simulatietool toonde bovendien aan dat een vangrail (infrastructurele aanpassing) en het aanbrengen van fietsmarkeringen in combinatie met een lagere maximumsnelheid (zachte maatregelen) hetzelfde veiligheidsniveau voor fietsers zouden kunnen bereiken.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Lane Patrol en CycleRAP hebben de krachten gebundeld om de fietsveiligheid te verbeteren.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/factual-consulting.com\/\">FEITELIJKE<\/a>\u00a0en <a href=\"https:\/\/lanepatrol.com\/\">Rijbaanwacht<\/a> We hebben een bewezen staat van dienst met succesvolle projecten voor de beoordeling van fietsgebruik in diverse steden wereldwijd, waaronder Barcelona, Madrid, Montevideo, Kopenhagen, Oxford en Skopje.<\/p>\n<p>Factual is een vertrouwde CycleRAP-leverancier en deze projecten hebben de effectiviteit van de CycleRAP-methodologie aangetoond bij het verbeteren van de verkeersveiligheid en het verminderen van ongevallen in zeer uiteenlopende contexten, zowel in stedelijke als interstedelijke gebieden.<\/p>\n<p>De Lane Patrol-tool, ontwikkeld door Factual, biedt datagestuurde inzichten om potenti\u00eble gevaren te identificeren en de fietsinfrastructuur te verbeteren, waardoor het aantal ongelukken en verwondingen afneemt. Het helpt beleidsmakers, stedenbouwkundigen en mobiliteitsexperts de staat van bestaande en nieuwe infrastructuur te begrijpen, prioriteiten te stellen en updates te plannen, en resultaten te communiceren op basis van objectieve, datagestuurde gegevens.<\/p>\n<p>Wanneer de Lane Patrol-app op een fiets is gemonteerd, maakt deze automatisch georeferentieerde beelden van de fietsinfrastructuur. Deze worden later gesynchroniseerd met de webtool, die gebruikmaakt van visuele modellen om de veiligheid te beoordelen aan de hand van meer dan 40 parameters, zoals rijstrookbreedte, afbakening, beschermingsbarri\u00e8res en obstakels. Lane Patrol maakt gebruik van de CycleRAP-methodologie om automatisch het risiconiveau voor fietsers en andere gebruikers van lichte mobiliteit te bepalen door risicovolle locaties te identificeren zonder dat er ongevalsgegevens nodig zijn.
