{"id":48610,"date":"2021-10-05T15:26:05","date_gmt":"2021-10-05T14:26:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/irap.org\/?p=48610"},"modified":"2021-10-12T01:49:28","modified_gmt":"2021-10-12T00:49:28","slug":"using-fleets-to-map-the-safety-of-our-streets","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/irap.org\/nl\/2021\/10\/using-fleets-to-map-the-safety-of-our-streets\/","title":{"rendered":"Vloten gebruiken om de veiligheid van onze straten in kaart te brengen"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Het gebruik van wagenparken om de veiligheid van onze straten in kaart te brengen was de focus van een innovatieve sessie waar Rob McInerney, CEO van iRAP, onlangs bij aanwezig was op de jaarlijkse bijeenkomst Together for Safer Roads (TSR) in de VS.<\/p>\n<p>Op 14 september presenteerde Rob <a href=\"https:\/\/2021-annual-meeting.heysummit.com\/talks\/future-roads\/\">in de sessie<\/a> naast toonaangevende vlootexperts, waaronder:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>David Braunstein, voorzitter, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.togetherforsaferroads.org\/\">Samen voor veiligere wegen;<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/2021-annual-meeting.heysummit.com\/speakers\/patrick-breiner\/\">Patrick Breiner<\/a>, Partnergroeileider, Roadbotics;<\/li>\n<li>Bruce Hamilton, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.usrap.org\/\">onsRAP<\/a> Leider en algemeen directeur, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.roadwaysafety.org\/\">Stichting Verkeersveiligheid;<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Jessie Lazarus, vice-president, Carmera, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carmera.com\/?ref=heysummit\">Geweven Planeet Bedrijf<\/a>; En<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/2021-annual-meeting.heysummit.com\/speakers\/jason-whittet\/\">Jason Whittet<\/a>, Leider digitale innovatie \u2013 Smart Cities, Amazon Web Services<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Rob vroeg de aanwezige wagenparkbeheerders zich een scenario voor te stellen:<\/p>\n<p><em>Stel u voor dat u uw risicobeoordeling op de werkplek uitvoert: u heeft uw klembord en uzelf <\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>ga naar het balkon op de 10e verdieping en er is geen balkonrail<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Je opent de liftdeur en realiseert je dat er twee cabines in dezelfde kamer zijn die naar elkaar toe razen, gescheiden door een dun stukje lucht<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Je loopt de keuken binnen en een bestelbusje vliegt met 60 kilometer per uur langs je heen<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Als dat jouw kantoor was, zou het gesloten zijn. Helaas is het elke dag jouw ervaring op wegen in de VS en over de hele wereld.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Rob&#039;s toespraak legde het belang uit van <a href=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/how-we-can-help\/?et_open_tab=et_pb_tab_0\">Sterbeoordelingen<\/a> voor wagenparkveiligheidsbeheer en hoe iRAP-gegevens een essentieel onderdeel kunnen worden van de wagenparkactiviteiten en de gezondheids- en veiligheidsreactie van bedrijven.<\/p>\n<p>Hij profileerde ook het potentieel van <a href=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/project\/ai-rap\/\">AiRAP<\/a> om data-inzichten te ontsluiten ter onderbouwing van beslissingen over vlootveiligheid en spannende lopende projecten in de VS, Europa, Australi\u00eb, Vietnam, Afrika en Latijns-Amerika ter ondersteuning van de versnelde en intelligente verzameling van RAP-gegevens.<\/p>\n<p>Rob zei: \u201cBrongegevens zoals Google StreetView en Mapillary Imagery, satellietgegevens, kaarten, video- en LiDAR-gegevens, Mobileye-sensorgegevens, Waymo en andere autonome en geavanceerde autotechnologie\u00ebn, telematicagegevens van \u2018zwarte dozen van voertuigen\u2019 en mobiele telefoons en apps Gegevens zoals Strava \u2013 gecodeerd en geaccrediteerd volgens dezelfde wereldwijde iRAP-specificatie \u2013 hebben een enorm potentieel om initiatieven voor de veiligheid van wagenparken te informeren om het aantal verkeersdoden en -gewonden op de werkplek te verminderen.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cVlootbeheerders zoals UPS, PEPSICO, ABInBev en Republic Services kunnen een groot en aanzienlijk deel uitmaken van de verzameling van brongegevens en profiteren van de verwerkte resultaten.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDoor ervoor te zorgen dat de gegevens zijn gecodeerd volgens dezelfde wereldwijde iRAP-specificatie en AiRAP-accreditatie, zorg je ervoor dat alle algoritmen die zijn ontwikkeld door bedrijven als Samsara, GeoTAB en AutoLiv consistent kunnen worden toegepast, ongeacht de brongegevens.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOp dezelfde manier zullen dezelfde algoritmen die de veiligheidsbeslissingen in de VS begeleiden, werken in Mexico, Brazili\u00eb, Frankrijk, India, Nigeria of de Filippijnen, ook al kan wat resultaten van hoge kwaliteit oplevert op het Amerikaanse Interstate-netwerk heel anders zijn dan de brongegevens, technologie en algoritmen om sterbeoordelingen voor voetgangers in Boston of Bogota te stimuleren.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDe AiRAP-accreditatie zal centraal staan in de ontwikkeling van de AiRAP Data Marketplace die aanbieders van infrastructuurdata zal verbinden met de consumenten van die data\u201d, aldus Rob.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn de toekomst kunnen vloten onze straten beoordelen en elke partner, gewapend met de kennis van waar de 1-ster-wegen zijn, kan pleiten voor verbeterde veiligheid voor hun vloten, hun personeel en de gemeenschappen waar ze actief zijn.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Download een kopie van Rob&#039;s toespraak <a href=\"https:\/\/resources.irap.org\/General\/Rob_McInerney_Speech_2021_Together_for_Safer_Roads_Annual_Meeting.pdf\">hier<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Registreer u om de herhaling van de sessie te bekijken <a href=\"https:\/\/2021-annual-meeting.heysummit.com\/talks\/future-roads\/\">hier<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Bekijk een transcriptie van de sessie <a href=\"https:\/\/www.togetherforsaferroads.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/Session-1_-Using-Fleets-to-Map-Our-Streets_Transcript.pdf\">hier<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Rob en David Braunstein zullen beiden, samen met andere leden van het AiRAP-team, op 7 en 14 oktober een presentatie geven tijdens de Innovation Workshop 2021, georganiseerd door iRAP en de Regional Road Safety Observatories, over \u2018Data Driven Innovation to Halve Global Road Deaths by 2030\u2019.
