{"id":4760,"date":"2024-04-12T07:09:51","date_gmt":"2024-04-11T21:09:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordpress.temp.irap-dev.org\/fisevi-2024-advancing-child-road-safety-in-latin-america\/"},"modified":"2024-04-12T07:09:51","modified_gmt":"2024-04-11T21:09:51","slug":"fisevi-2024-advancing-child-road-safety-in-latin-america","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/irap.org\/nl\/fisevi-2024-advancing-child-road-safety-in-latin-america\/","title":{"rendered":"FISEVI 2024: Verbetering van de verkeersveiligheid van kinderen in Latijns-Amerika"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>iRAP was verheugd om deze week deel te nemen aan het Vijfde Internationale Forum voor Verkeersveiligheid voor Kinderen (FISEVI 2024) in El Salvador, georganiseerd door de Gonzalo Rodr\u00edguez Stichting en de regering van El Salvador, met deelname van verkeersveiligheidsautoriteiten uit onder andere Uruguay, Colombia, Chili, Panama, Mexico, Peru, Guatemala, Honduras en de Dominicaanse Republiek.<\/p>\n<p>Het belangrijkste evenement, dat plaatsvond van 10 tot en met 12 april, is het belangrijkste forum over verkeersveiligheid voor kinderen en heeft als doel de uitwisseling van kennis, ervaringen en goede praktijken op regionaal niveau te bevorderen. Het programma omvatte meer dan 60 presentaties, 30 sprekers en zes workshops.<\/p>\n<p>Edgar Zamora, Safer Journeys Lead voor Latijns-Amerika en het Caribisch gebied bij iRAP, en Franco Azzato, Training and Accreditation Coordinator, deelden informatie over het werk van iRAP-partners op het gebied van het bevorderen van veiliger reizen voor jongeren, en benadrukten het belang van infrastructuur en kindveiligheid in het vervoer.<\/p>\n<p>Het evenement werd afgesloten met een verklaring van intentie ten aanzien van de doelstellingen van het VN-plan voor wereldwijde verkeersveiligheid en de Verklaring van Stockholm, met als doel het aantal verkeersdoden en -gewonden met 501.000.000 te verminderen tegen 2030.
