Joseph begon in 2005 bij ARRB en werkte samen met de CEO van iRAP, Rob McInerney, op het ARRB-kantoor in Brisbane, voordat Rob zijn rol bij iRAP op zich nam. Tijdens zijn werk bij ARRB was Joseph betrokken bij de ontwikkeling van NetRisk, een Australische voorloper van iRAP, en droeg hij bij aan het onderzoeks- en analysewerk dat deel uitmaakt van het iRAP-model.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Joseph heeft waardevolle ervaring opgedaan met de toepassing van iRAP door middel van projecten op het Australische wegennet (als AusRAP), in Nieuw-Zeeland (als KiwiRAP), en in Maleisi\u00eb, Vietnam en meest recentelijk in Sri Lanka. Daar heeft Joseph zijn ervaring doorgegeven aan de volgende generatie iRAP-voorstanders door ingenieurs van de Sri Lankaanse Road Development Authority op te leiden en hen te helpen bij het behalen van hun accreditatie voor iRAP-codering, -analyse en -rapportage.<\/p>\n<p>Rob McInerney, CEO van iRAP, feliciteerde Joseph met deze bijdrage: &quot;Dr. Joseph Affum was een toponderzoeker die heeft bijgedragen aan de ontwikkeling van de iRAP-modellen die nu in meer dan 125 landen wereldwijd worden gebruikt.
