  1. Wat is uw huidige rol binnen AMZS en wat is de visie van uw vereniging op verkeersveiligheid?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Momenteel ben ik secretaris-generaal van AMZS, de Sloveense vereniging voor auto's en motorfietsen. Tegelijkertijd ben ik projectmanager van de AMZS EuroRAP-activiteit en het RADAR-project.<\/p>\n

    AMZS is zeer actief op het gebied van verkeersveiligheid en veilige mobiliteit, waarbij alle drie de pijlers van verkeersveiligheid aan bod komen: 1.\u00a0met betrekking tot bestuurders<\/strong>, 1. We hebben onze eigen rijschool en het grootste centrum voor veilig autorijden in Sloveni\u00eb; 2.\u00a0met betrekking tot voertuigen<\/strong>, we bieden pechhulp, autoreparatiewerkplaatsen, technische voertuigkeuringen, voertuighomologatie, we zijn partners bij jaarlijkse internationale bandentests, keuring van kinderzitjes; 3.\u00a0met betrekking tot infrastructuur<\/strong>,Sinds 2008 beoordelen we wegen met behulp van de iRAP\/EuroRAP-procedures, naast tests van voetgangersovergangen, tunneltests en vele andere activiteiten. Onze visie is om de eerste stem en vertegenwoordiger te zijn van alle weggebruikers voor veilige en duurzame mobiliteit, zowel in dialoog met als tegen offici\u00eble instanties.<\/p>\n

    1. Kunt u ons iets meer vertellen over de betrokkenheid van AMZS bij de SENSoR- en RADAR-projecten?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      AMZS heeft ruime ervaring met internationale projecten. De projecten SENSoR en RADAR stelden ons in staat om door te gaan met wegbeoordeling, niet alleen door wegen te classificeren, maar ook door het belang van een veilige systeembenadering te promoten en het bewustzijn onder alle betrokken verkeersveiligheidsinstanties in Sloveni\u00eb te vergroten. Tegelijkertijd boden beide projecten ons de mogelijkheid om internationaal goede praktijkvoorbeelden en -benaderingen te delen en te ontvangen. Het SENSoR-project stelde ons in staat om op grote schaal wegen te beoordelen, waarbij we ongeveer 3.200 km aan Sloveense rijkswegen van een sterrenclassificatie hebben voorzien.<\/p>\n

      1. Waarom hebben jullie ervoor gekozen om met EuroRAP samen te werken? Wat biedt EuroRAP jullie?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Dankzij EuroRAP konden we gebruikmaken van onafhankelijke en internationaal vergelijkbare instrumenten voor wegbeoordeling, waardoor onze positie ten opzichte van wegbeheerders en ministeries werd versterkt. Bij het eisen van veiligere wegen en voortdurend onderhoud en verbetering van wegen, wordt EuroRAP beschouwd als een krachtig instrument ter ondersteuning van onze initiatieven.<\/p>\n

        1. Kunt u ons vertellen over uw belangrijkste successen op het gebied van verkeersveiligheid in Sloveni\u00eb dankzij uw samenwerking met EuroRAP?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

          De belangrijkste prestatie is de oprichting van het Sloveense EuroRAP-consortium, of beter gezegd het partnerschap, bestaande uit het Ministerie van Infrastructuur, de politie, de rijkswegenautoriteiten en de snelwegautoriteiten. Veel lof gaat naar de heer Robert Staba, voormalig medewerker van AMZS, die het AMZS EuroRAP-project op gang bracht. We hebben risicokaarten geleverd voor opeenvolgende periodes van drie jaar: 2006-2008, 2009-2011, 2012-2014 en 2015-2017. Sinds 2008 hebben we ongeveer 4.000 km aan rijkswegen en 800 km aan snelwegen en autowegen van een sterrenclassificatie voorzien.<\/p>\n

          1. Aan het eind van vorig jaar won AMZS de prestigieuze Prince Michael International Road Safety Award. Kunt u ons meer vertellen over deze fantastische prestatie?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            We zijn er trots op dat onze aanhoudende EuroRAP-activiteiten, die we sinds 2008 regelmatig uitvoeren, internationaal zijn erkend en dat we in zo'n vooraanstaand internationaal gezelschap van prijswinnaars terecht zijn gekomen. We zullen nauw blijven samenwerken, met name met de wegbeheerders, waarmee we voor het derde jaar op rij een contract hebben getekend voor de beoordeling van wegen. Op de circa 101.000 ton aan Sloveense rijkswegen, bestaande uit snelwegen en autowegen, wordt jaarlijks namelijk meer dan 50.000 ton aan voertuigkilometers afgelegd.<\/p>\n
