Een van de doelstellingen van het project is het beoordelen van het veiligheidsmanagement van het kernwegennet van de TEN-T-landen. Momenteel vinden er beoordelingen plaats in vier Europese landen: Kroati\u00eb, Itali\u00eb, Griekenland en Spanje.<\/p>\n<p>Op 24 juni overhandigde mevrouw Vassiliki Danelli-Mylona, voorzitter van het Road Safety Institute \u201cPanos Mylonas\u201d, samen met haar medewerkers de meest recente risicokaarten van het Griekse Ministerie van Infrastructuur en Transport in het kader van het SLAIN-project. Met de goedkeuring van deze risicokaarten door het ministerie voldoet Griekenland aan de eisen van de Richtlijn inzake het beheer van de verkeersveiligheid (RISM-richtlijn).
