Elk jaar organiseren de Europese Commissie en de\u00a0Europees Handvest voor Verkeersveiligheid\u00a0<\/a>Het team roept de verkeersveiligheidsgemeenschap op om goede praktijken te documenteren, te delen en te vieren met de Excellence in Road Safety Awards. "De Excellence in Road Safety Awards 2021 bieden de mogelijkheid om de bijdragen van onze leden aan het gemeenschappelijke doel van verbeterde verkeersveiligheid in heel Europa te erkennen door middel van specifieke en meetbare acties binnen hun verantwoordelijkheidsgebied", staat op de offici\u00eble website. Volgens de organisatoren "zullen winnende initiatieven voorbeelden laten zien van hoe lokale gemeenschappen samenwerken om verkeersveiligheid te beschouwen als een integraal onderdeel van het toekomstige mobiliteitssysteem: het plannen en ontwerpen voor een veilige interactie tussen weggebruikers."\u201c<\/p>\n

Voorwaarden voor deelname:<\/strong>
Aanvragers kunnen afkomstig zijn uit een EU-lidstaat, een EFTA-lidstaat (IJsland, Liechtenstein, Noorwegen en Zwitserland) of een toetredingsstaat (Albani\u00eb, Noord-Macedoni\u00eb, Montenegro, Servi\u00eb en Turkije). Inzendingen van buiten deze landen kunnen weliswaar op de website van het Charter worden gepubliceerd als waardevolle inspiratie voor anderen, maar komen niet in aanmerking voor een prijs. Goede praktijken kunnen worden ingediend.\u00a0HIER.<\/a><\/p>\n
