Het seminar trok 107 aanmeldingen uit 41 verschillende landen over de hele wereld. Ze legde uit dat big data en kunstmatige intelligentie een leidende rol kunnen spelen bij het opbouwen van een maatschappelijk en economisch businessplan voor veiligere wegen en het cre\u00ebren van de noodzakelijke veranderingen om miljoenen levens te redden. De versnelde en intelligente verzameling en codering van gegevens over wegkenmerken kan de tijd en moeite die nodig zijn voor het uitvoeren van verkeersveiligheidsbeoordelingen verminderen, de kosten verlagen en de nauwkeurigheid verbeteren. Samen met de Star Ratings voor verkeersveiligheid en de modellen voor het schatten van dodelijke slachtoffers en ernstig gewonden, kan het AiRAP-initiatief van iRAP deze verkeersveiligheidsgegevens wereldwijd beschikbaar stellen aan wegbeheerders, beleidsmakers, investeerders en weggebruikers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cData wordt gezien als een van de cruciale factoren om de verkeersveiligheidsproblemen op te lossen. Met AiRAP zullen de gegevens niet alleen uit verschillende bronnen komen, maar zal er ook een variatie zijn in de manier waarop ze worden verzameld en verwerkt voor verkeersveiligheidsanalyses\u201d, benadrukte Monica tijdens het seminar. Om dit initiatief te ondersteunen, heeft iRAP een nieuwe AiRAP-accreditatie ge\u00efntroduceerd om de kwaliteit, consistentie en standaardisatie van de gegevens te waarborgen.<\/p>\n<p>Monica presenteerde ook twee AiRAP-documenten die binnenkort goedgekeurd en beschikbaar zullen zijn: het proces voor AiRAP-attribuutaccreditatie en de AiRAP-gegevensspecificatie. De presentatie werd afgesloten met de visie van AiRAP, waarna er veel interessante vragen uit het publiek werden gesteld. Samen met een forum voor nationale regelingen worden deze drie soorten seminars afwisselend aangeboden, waardoor we elke maand nieuwe inzichten opdoen.
