The FIA are a strong supporter of road safety improvements and saving lives on roads. iRAP is a member of the FIA and the clubs around the world lead the way with the charity&#8217;s work in many countries.<\/p>\n<p>In this latest report, iRAP and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.starratingforschools.org\/\">Star Rating for Schools<\/a> is mentioned on pages 86 and 92:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Page 86:<\/strong> \u2018In October 2019, the FIA Roundtable event in Chennai, India, brought together a record number of attendees. A highlight of the meeting was a keynote presentation by iRAP Managing Director Greg Smith on the Star Rating for Schools (SRFS) project. Region II has been working with Mr Smith and his team on piloting the SR4S programme in Nepal, Vietnam, Philippines, India, and Australia, with encouraging results. The programme is not only extremely popular but has led to real safety infrastructure improvements around the pilot schools. The scheme will be expanded to become the Region\u2019s regional safety initiative in 2020 and with assistance from iRAP, Region II will coordinate and seek to grow Club participation.\u2019<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.starratingforschools.org\/fia-mobility-clubs-embrace-sr4s\/\">Read more<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Page 92:<\/strong> \u2018The FIA Grants Programme also assisted the International Transport Forum (ITF) in establishing the Safer City Streets Network and supported the development of the FIA Star Rating for Schools Toolkit.
