Like many life-saving charities working in the public health arena, we use a robust, evidence-based approach to reduce the likelihood of deaths and serious injuries.<\/p>\n<p>iRAP works in partnership with governments, road authorities, mobility clubs, development banks, NGOs and research organisations to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Inspect high-risk roads and develop Star Ratings, Risk Maps and Safer Roads Investment Plans<\/li>\n<li>Provide training, technology and support that will build and sustain national, regional and local capability<\/li>\n<li>Track road safety performance so that funding agencies can assess the benefits of their investments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">iRAP biedt toonaangevende methodieken en instrumenten voor het meten en beheren van de veiligheid van de wegeninfrastructuur.\u00a0De iRAP-tools zijn in meer dan 130 landen gebruikt om de veiligheid van zo&#x27;n 3 miljoen km aan straten, wegen en snelwegen te beoordelen en hebben invloed gehad op ontwerp- en bouwprojecten ter waarde van meer dan 110 miljard euro.
