{"id":3660,"date":"2023-01-17T08:22:48","date_gmt":"2023-01-16T21:22:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordpress.temp.irap-dev.org\/cyclerap-pilot-assesses-bike-lane-safety-in-rome-tunnel\/"},"modified":"2026-04-30T12:40:08","modified_gmt":"2026-04-30T02:40:08","slug":"cyclerap-pilot-assesses-bike-lane-safety-in-rome-tunnel","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/irap.org\/nl\/cyclerap-pilot-assesses-bike-lane-safety-in-rome-tunnel\/","title":{"rendered":"CycleRAP-pilot beoordeelt veilige fietspaden in Romeinse tunnel"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Een CycleRAP Pilot, uitgevoerd op nieuwe fietsinfrastructuur in een tunnel aan de Via di Porta Cavalleggeri in Rome, heeft de veiligheid ervan aangetoond en draagt bij aan het beantwoorden van de tegenstrijdige meningen van de lokale bevolking.<\/p>\n<p>De tunnelroute, die door iedereen wordt gebruikt, verbindt twee belangrijke delen van het historische stadscentrum, maar bood geen voorzieningen voor fietsers of gebruikers van micro-mobiliteit.<\/p>\n<p>De gemeente Rome wilde de veiligheid van een nieuw fietspad waarborgen.<\/p>\n<p>De beoordeling uitgevoerd door <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fredeng.eu\/\">FRED Engineering<\/a> toegepast <a href=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/nl\/cyclerap\/\">CycleRAP-model<\/a> in drie fasen van projectontwikkeling: (i) v\u00f3\u00f3r interventie zonder fietsvoorzieningen (ante operam-conditie), (ii) op de gedetailleerde ontwerpen, en (iii) na implementatie van de fietsstrookfaciliteit.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wordpress.temp.irap-dev.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/Rome-CycleRAP-pilot-image-1.png\" alt=\"Rome CycleRAP pilot image 1\" \/><\/p>\n<p>De resultaten bewezen dat de interventies de route veiliger maken voor fietsers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c&quot;In het scenario v\u00f3\u00f3r de aanpassingen was het ongevalsrisico voor fietsers op 931 meter van het traject &#x27;extreem&#x27;, terwijl dit risico na de uitvoering van de aanpassingen drastisch is gedaald: slechts \u00e9\u00e9n stuk van 20 meter werd nog als &#x27;extreem&#x27; aangemerkt, en meer dan 801 meter van het traject werd geclassificeerd als &#x27;gemiddeld&#x27;,&quot; aldus Antonino Tripodi, technisch directeur bij FRED Engineering.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wordpress.temp.irap-dev.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/Rome-CycleRAP-pilot-image-2.png\" alt=\"Rome CycleRAP pilot image 2\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Zoals aangegeven op de risicokaart hierboven, blijft slechts \u00e9\u00e9n deel van het fietspad na interventie gevaarlijk voor fietsers.
