The main objective was to provide an introduction to the <em>AI&amp;Me<\/em>\u00a0program as well as launch the YEA App with instructions on how to use it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Raise your voice: A Youth Engagement App for safer mobility\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>De YEA biedt jongeren een effici\u00ebnte manier om gevaarlijke wegomstandigheden te signaleren en te melden, en geeft hen een platform om hun stem te laten horen. Via de app ontvangen overheidsfunctionarissen gegevens die kunnen worden omgezet in bruikbare aanbevelingen voor effectieve en op bewijs gebaseerde verkeersveiligheidsmaatregelen. Dit maakt het gemakkelijker om gevaarlijke locaties te identificeren voor een meer diepgaande analyse, om zo de sterrenclassificatie voor schoolzones te bepalen.<\/p>\n<p>The trainings were facilitated by MOT &amp; iRAP\u2019s leading technical experts in their field:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Shanna Lucchesi, Project Coordinator, iRAP<\/li>\n<li>Rafaela Machado, <a href=\"https:\/\/starratingforschools.org\/\">Sterrenbeoordelingen voor scholen<\/a> Global Coordinator, iRAP<\/li>\n<li>Mr. Le Van Thanh, Special list, Infrastructure Department, MOT<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/52518858555_835c14e067_c.jpg\" alt=\"52518858555_835c14e067_c\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/52518858760_7e0205c848_c.jpg\" alt=\"52518858760_7e0205c848_c\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/52518379811_fe240ddc27_c.jpg\" alt=\"52518379811_fe240ddc27_c\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/52517902392_599da498b9_c.jpg\" alt=\"52517902392_599da498b9_c\" \/><\/p>\n<p>As a result of the training, the teachers will be better equipped to use the YEA app and play an active role in providing training to 1800 students from 18 pilot schools to use it. In turn, it is then these students that will raise their voices for streets for life.
