De bijdrage aan het beroep kan liggen op het gebied van transportonderzoek, -strategie\u00ebn, -projecten, -programma's, -administratie of -onderwijs, op het gebied van verkeers- of transporttechniek of transportplanning.<\/p>\n<p>De ontvanger van de prijs wordt geselecteerd op basis van de volgende criteria:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Een belangrijke bijdrage aan de gemeenschap door inzet in de transportsector<\/li>\n<li>Vooruitgang in de praktijk van het transportvak<\/li>\n<li>Dekking van de bijdrage van de genomineerde op internationaal of nationaal niveau<\/li>\n<li>Het aantal jaren dat de genomineerde actief is in het beroep<\/li>\n<li>Persoonlijk engagement<\/li>\n<li>Staande in de branche<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Bij het in ontvangst nemen van de prijs zei Rob: \u201cNet als ITE maak ik deel uit van een grote gemeenschap van experts en beoefenaars die deel uitmaken van de wereldwijde iRAP-familie. Onze impact wordt mogelijk gemaakt door de passie, de geest en de inzet van zoveel mensen over de hele wereld en deze prijs erkent die teamprestatie.\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIk heb zoveel geluk gehad dat ik geleerd, uitgedaagd en gecoacht ben door veel van de vorige ontvangers van deze prijs. De ITE-gemeenschap is een geweldige plek voor het delen van kennis, praktijken, vaardigheden en connecties \u2013 en het is zo geweldig om de focus op Vision Zero van Jeff Paniati en de hele ITE-wereld te zien.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAls transportprofessionals moeten we heel goed nadenken over het gruwelijke aantal doden en gewonden dat dagelijks plaatsvindt op de wegen in Australi\u00eb en Nieuw-Zeeland, en dagelijks op wegen wereldwijd.
