{"id":3347,"date":"2022-07-06T03:56:32","date_gmt":"2022-07-05T17:56:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordpress.temp.irap-dev.org\/supporting-safe-highway-geometric-design\/"},"modified":"2026-04-30T12:39:57","modified_gmt":"2026-04-30T02:39:57","slug":"supporting-safe-highway-geometric-design","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/irap.org\/nl\/supporting-safe-highway-geometric-design\/","title":{"rendered":"Ondersteuning van een veilig geometrisch ontwerp voor snelwegen op ISHGD2022"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We waren verheugd deel uit te maken van het 6e Internationale Symposium over Geometrisch Ontwerp van Snelwegen (<a href=\"https:\/\/ishgd2020.org\/\">ISHGD2022<\/a>), met onder andere het 6e Urban Street Symposium dat vorige week in Amsterdam plaatsvond.<\/p>\n<p>Het symposium vond plaats van 26 tot en met 29 juni en wordt om de vijf jaar georganiseerd. Het doel is om de voortdurende verbetering van het geometrisch ontwerp van snelwegen te stimuleren.<\/p>\n<p>Met als thema &quot;Slim ontwerp van snelwegen en straten, klaar voor de toekomst&quot; richtte ISHGD2022 zich op de nieuwste baanbrekende praktijken met betrekking tot de verschillende levensfasen van de wegenbouw, inclusief de dagelijkse operationele effecten en veilige wegontwerpen.<\/p>\n<p>James Bradford, Global Technical Director van iRAP, modereerde de sessie over &quot;Uitdagingen en innovatie in de evaluatie en voorspelling van verkeersveiligheid&quot; en maakte van de gelegenheid gebruik om zijn inzichten te delen. <a href=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/nl\/star-rating-for-designs\/\">Star Rating for Designs<\/a> (SR4D) met deelnemers.<\/p>\n<p>SR4D is een proces- en op bewijs gebaseerd programma van toepassingen, ge\u00efnspireerd door de iRAP-methodologie, waarmee objectief de mate van verkeersveiligheid die inherent is aan een wegontwerp voor inzittenden van voertuigen, motorrijders, voetgangers en fietsers kan worden gemeten en verbeterd, v\u00f3\u00f3r aanvang van de civiele werkzaamheden.<\/p>\n<p>SR4D wordt al in 38 landen gebruikt en stelt wegenbouwers en -ontwerpers, gemeenten en wegbeheerders, financieringsinstanties en overheden in staat om wegen veiliger te maken.<\/p>\n<p>Star Rating for Designs zal essentieel zijn om landen te ondersteunen bij het bereiken van hun doelstellingen. <a href=\"https:\/\/resources.irap.org\/General\/12_UN_Global_Road_Safety_Targets.pdf\">Wereldwijde prestatiedoelstellingen voor verkeersveiligheid van de Verenigde Naties<\/a>, speciaal\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/nl\/2018\/04\/targets-3-4-what-they-mean-for-safer-roads-globally\/\">Doel 3<\/a>\u00a0Om ervoor te zorgen dat alle nieuwe wegen worden aangelegd volgens een standaard van 3 sterren of hoger voor alle weggebruikers.<\/p>\n<p>Bekijk het ISHGD2022-programma <a href=\"https:\/\/ishgd2020.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/ISHGD-USS-brochure-23-6-2022-1.pdf\">hier<\/a> waaronder meer dan 150 gepresenteerde papers uit 35 verschillende landen.<\/p>\n<p>Het evenement werd georganiseerd door Association Infra Design en TRB, met ondersteuning van ARCADIS, Autodesk, Sidra Solutions en Transoft Solutions.<\/p>\n<p>Voor meer informatie over Star Rating for Designs, ga naar <a href=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/nl\/star-rating-for-designs\/\">https:\/\/irap.org\/star-rating-for-designs\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Om lid te worden van de Star Rating for Designs-belangengroep en meer te horen over de programma- en procesontwikkelingen,<a href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSd9jrzqxp2R8ccloQGpA3hcyrhTlN8I6BxPMOy7QlmxA_Pmsw\/viewform?usp=sf_link\"> klik hier<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/James-at-ISHGD.jpg\" alt=\"James at ISHGD\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>James opent de sessie over uitdagingen en innovatie in de evaluatie en voorspelling van verkeersveiligheid.<\/em><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We were pleased to be a part of the 6th International Symposium on Highway Geometric Design (ISHGD2022), featuring the 6th Urban Street Symposium in Amsterdam last week.
