iRAP is lid geworden van de Steden Alliantie 4 Kinderen<\/a> leden in Katowice, Polen om de volgende fase van de Alliantie te bespreken. De alliantie is een interdisciplinair netwerk van 27 organisaties die samenwerken om ervoor te zorgen dat kinderrechten stevig verankerd zijn in de stedelijke agenda. Via de Star Rating for Schools-programma (SR4S)<\/a> , iRAP wil ertoe bijdragen dat veilige schoolzones op de stedelijke agenda worden geplaatst.<\/p>\n

Als onderdeel van het World Urban Forum 11 lanceerde Cities 4 Children de publicatie \u2018Steden voor en met kinderen en jongeren \u2013 Idee\u00ebn ter inspiratie voor actie\u2019<\/a>. Het document belicht effectieve acties die kunnen worden ondernomen om steden beter te maken voor kinderen en jongeren. SR4S is opgenomen als onderdeel van de sectie Veilige en Actieve Reizen naar School.<\/p>\n

Cities4Children organiseerde ook een evenement ter lancering van de volgende fase van het samenwerkingsverband, waarbij de nadruk ligt op samenwerking op nationaal en gemeentelijk niveau.
