{"id":3318,"date":"2022-06-30T13:09:42","date_gmt":"2022-06-30T03:09:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordpress.temp.irap-dev.org\/safe-system-approach-in-action-at-itf-day-oecd-in-paris\/"},"modified":"2026-04-30T12:39:56","modified_gmt":"2026-04-30T02:39:56","slug":"safe-system-approach-in-action-at-itf-day-oecd-in-paris","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/irap.org\/nl\/safe-system-approach-in-action-at-itf-day-oecd-in-paris\/","title":{"rendered":"Veilige Systeembenadering &amp; nieuw rapport in actie op ITF Dag bij de OESO in Parijs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>iRAP was verheugd om deel te nemen aan de bijeenkomst van vandaag. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.itf-oecd.org\/itf-day-oecd-2022\">ITF-dag bij de OESO<\/a> in Parijs, waar hij aan ambassadeurs en medewerkers van de OESO een presentatie gaf over de financiering van investeringen in verkeersveiligheid.<\/p>\n<p>James Bradford, Global Technical Director van iRAP, gaf een presentatie over de onderbouwing van resultaatgerichte financiering, doelstellingen voor het Star Rating-beleid, veiligheidsgaranties en het Britse Road Safety Fund.<\/p>\n<p>Het programma omvatte sessies over:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Veilige wegen: is nul verkeersdoden mogelijk?;<\/li>\n<li>Op weg naar COP27: Het koolstofvrij maken van transport;<\/li>\n<li>Let op de (gender)kloof! Welke lessen kunnen we trekken uit de integratie van gender in het transportbeleid?<\/li>\n<li>Hoe transport inclusieve samenlevingen mogelijk maakt.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Bekijk het gedetailleerde evenementenprogramma. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.itf-oecd.org\/itf-day-oecd-2022\">hier<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/52194222812_8ea984e792_o-1_1024.jpg\" alt=\"52194222812_8ea984e792_o (1)_1024\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>James Bradford, iRAP en V\u00e9ronique Feypell, ITF, paneldiscussie: &quot;Veiligere wegen: zijn nul verkeersdoden mogelijk?&quot;\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Het laatste <a href=\"https:\/\/www.itf-oecd.org\/sites\/default\/files\/docs\/safe-system-in-action.pdf\">ITF Safe System in actie: Rapport<\/a> Tijdens het evenement werd een rapport gelanceerd met de deskundige bevindingen van de werkgroep &quot;Implementatie van het veilige systeem&quot;, die gezamenlijk werd geleid door het ITF en de Wereldbank.<\/p>\n<p>Het rapport stelt dat elke stad, regio en elk land ernaar moet streven projecten en programma&#039;s te ontwikkelen die het aantal dodelijke slachtoffers en ernstig letsel verminderen. De schaarste aan financi\u00eble middelen vergroot echter de behoefte aan proactieve en op bewijs gebaseerde programma&#039;s. Hulpmiddelen die kunnen helpen bij het ontwerpen van dergelijke programma&#039;s zijn onder andere software voor veiligheidsanalyse, veiligheidsaudits en -inspecties, de middelen die beschikbaar worden gesteld door het International Road Assessment Programme-programma, veiligheidsprestatie-inspecties (SPI&#039;s) en veiligheidssysteembeoordelingen.<\/p>\n<p>Wetenschappelijk onderzoek heeft aangetoond dat de implementatie van een &#039;Safe System&#039;-aanpak de meest effectieve en effici\u00ebnte manier is om de verkeersveiligheid te verbeteren. De invoering ervan is echter niet eenvoudig, vooral niet in lage- en middeninkomenslanden. Hoewel er succesverhalen zijn, zoals Nederland en Zweden, is het toepassen van hun methoden in andere landen verre van gemakkelijk. Het vereist aanpassingen op maat aan de specifieke sociaaleconomische omstandigheden van elk land, elke stad of regio waar de aanpak wordt toegepast.<\/p>\n<p>De werkgroep heeft een theoretisch kader ontwikkeld als leidraad voor diegenen die de Safe System-aanpak willen implementeren. Het kader beschrijft hoe de veiligheid van wegen, voertuigen, het gedrag van weggebruikers en andere pijlers van verkeersveiligheid kan worden verbeterd door middel van de verschillende sleutelcomponenten van een Safe System. Experts analyseerden verkeersveiligheidsactiviteiten en -interventies in 17 casestudies van alle continenten met dit kader in gedachten.
