Het heeft tot doel ongevallen te verminderen en de veiligheid specifiek voor fietsers en andere gebruikers van lichte mobiliteit te verbeteren door locaties met een hoog risico te identificeren zonder dat er ongevalsgegevens nodig zijn.<\/p>\n<p>CycleRAP kan overal ter wereld worden gebruikt en zal de basis vormen voor softwaretools die worden gebruikt om de locaties van ongevallen met fietsers en lichte mobiliteitsvoertuigen te lokaliseren en in kaart te brengen.<\/p>\n<p>Het model gebruikt gegevens over de kenmerken van een weg, straat of pad om het risico op ongevallen voor fietsers en gebruikers van lichte mobiliteitshulpmiddelen te evalueren, ongeacht het type voorziening (of het nu op de weg of off-road is) en voor alle soorten ongevallen.<\/p>\n<p>CycleRAP is bedoeld voor gebruik door vervoersautoriteiten en organisaties die zich bezighouden met het cre\u00ebren van veiligere voorzieningen voor fietsers en gebruikers van andere lichte mobiliteitsvoertuigen, of het pleiten voor dergelijke voorzieningen.<\/p>\n<p>Voor vragen over de lancering en implementatie van CycleRAP kunt u per e-mail contact opnemen met Monica Olyslagers, Global Innovation Manager en Cities Specialist bij iRAP. <a href=\"mailto:monica.olyslagers@irap.org\">monica.olyslagers@irap.org<\/a> <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/bcf0efdd-75dd-2af5-b0a7-1bf297a11513.png\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>With World Bicycle Day just passed and CycleRAP launching on 14 June, we&#8217;d love to share more information with you on the future of safe cycling infrastructure.
