{"id":3243,"date":"2022-05-31T12:30:01","date_gmt":"2022-05-31T02:30:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordpress.temp.irap-dev.org\/cyclerap-launches-globally\/"},"modified":"2026-04-30T12:39:54","modified_gmt":"2026-04-30T02:39:54","slug":"cyclerap-launches-globally","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/irap.org\/nl\/cyclerap-launches-globally\/","title":{"rendered":"CycleRAP mondiaal gelanceerd op Velo-City"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Na succesvolle pilots in Europa en vier jaar onderzoek en ontwikkeling in overleg met wereldwijde fiets- en veiligheidsexperts, <a href=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/nl\/cyclerap\/\">CycleRAP<\/a> will launch at next month\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.velo-city2022.com\/en\/\">Fietsstad Convent<\/a> on 14 June in Ljubljana, Slovenia.<\/p>\n<p>CycleRAP is een gemakkelijke, betaalbare en snelle methode om de infrastructuur voor fietsers en weggebruikers te evalueren op veiligheid. Het heeft tot doel ongevallen te verminderen en de veiligheid specifiek voor fietsers en andere gebruikers van lichte mobiliteit te verbeteren door locaties met een hoog risico te identificeren zonder dat er ongevalsgegevens nodig zijn.<\/p>\n<p>CycleRAP can be used anywhere in the world and will power software tools used for pinpointing and mapping where bicyclist and light mobility crashes are likely to occur.<\/p>\n<p>The model uses data about the features of a road, street or path to evaluate the risk of crashes for bicyclists and light mobility users\u2014irrespective of the type of facility (or whether it is on or off road) and for all crash types.<\/p>\n<p>The tool is intended for use by transport authorities and organisations involved in addressing or advocating for safer facilities for bicyclists and users of other light mobility vehicles.<\/p>\n<p>Het CycleRAP model en de gegevens zullen van waarde zijn voor een breed scala aan belanghebbenden, waaronder transport- en stadsplanners, aanbieders van deelfietsen en micro-mobiliteitsdiensten, fietskoeriers- en maaltijdbezorgbedrijven, en schoolgemeenschappen.<\/p>\n<p>Specific uses could include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Het aanpakken van expliciete of algemene veiligheidszorgen voor fietsers en gebruikers van lichte mobiliteit<\/li>\n<li>Het beoordelen van de capaciteit van bestaande netwerken om te voorzien in snelgroeiende vraag of toename van nieuwe voertuigtypes<\/li>\n<li>Prioriteer financiering en investeringen voor fiets- en lichte mobiliteitsinfrastructuur<\/li>\n<li>Assist cities formalising rapid response measures for bicyclists during COVID19.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The CycleRAP Launch will occur during Velo-city 2022 at the Freewheel Stage on 14 June. The conference is being held in-person and the Launch will be open to registered conference delegates. Specific registration for the Launch is not required.<\/p>\n<p>CycleRAP will launch alongside an exhibition of its recent pilot application in the EIRA-EuroRAP <a href=\"http:\/\/www.interreg-danube.eu\/sabrina\">SABRINA Project<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Het SABRINA Project, dat loopt binnen het kader van het Donau Transnationaal Programma (Interreg Donauregio) met mede-financiering door fondsen van de Europese Unie (Europees Fonds voor Regionale Ontwikkeling, Europees Nabuurschapsinstrument), heeft tot doel de veiligheid van fietsinfrastructuur aan te pakken op bestaande, geplande en ontbrekende fietsroutes in negen landen van de Donau-regio.
