The World Bank Global Road Safety Facility (GRSF) invites you to the June 7 launch event for the Saving Lives Through Private Investment in Road Safety Report<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

The report, produced by the Wereldbank<\/a>\u00a0en Internationale Financi\u00eble Organisatie (IFC<\/a>), in partnership with iRAP<\/a> en FIA High Level Panel for Road Safety, <\/a>examines the market failure in road safety funding and outlines practical business models to mobilise the private investment and sustainable finance needed to address the invisible crisis of dangerous roads.<\/p>\n

The hybrid Launch event will showcase different business models and financing instruments to channel private investment into road safety projects.\u00a0It will also explore the enabling environment for structuring investable road safety projects in a sample of countries, looking at the barriers and opportunities, and proposing risks and mitigation strategies, like blended finance mechanisms and stable revenue sources, for long-term sustainability of road safety investments.<\/p>\n
