{"id":3037,"date":"2022-01-25T14:32:00","date_gmt":"2022-01-25T03:32:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordpress.temp.irap-dev.org\/ausrap-news-a150m-funding-for-remote-roads\/"},"modified":"2026-04-30T12:39:48","modified_gmt":"2026-04-30T02:39:48","slug":"ausrap-news-a150m-funding-for-remote-roads","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/irap.org\/nl\/ausrap-news-a150m-funding-for-remote-roads\/","title":{"rendered":"AusRAP Nieuws: A$150 miljoen financiering voor regionale en afgelegen wegen"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>De Australische regering heeft aangekondigd dat <a href=\"https:\/\/investment.infrastructure.gov.au\/about\/national-initiatives\/remote-roads-upgrade.aspx\">Proefprogramma voor de verbetering van afgelegen wegen<\/a> waarbij 1.900.150 miljoen Australische dollar bestemd zal zijn voor wegverbeteringen in regionale gemeenschappen.<\/p>\n<p>Automobilisten in Australische regio&#039;s hebben vijf keer meer kans om in het verkeer te overlijden dan automobilisten in grote steden.<\/p>\n<p>Projectvoorstellen met een actuele risicobeoordeling volgens een erkende norm, zoals de <a href=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/nl\/project\/anram\/\">Australisch nationaal risicobeoordelingsmodel (ANRAM)<\/a> Een verbeterd model voor het schatten van dodelijke slachtoffers, gebaseerd op de AusRAP-modellen of het Australian Road Assessment Programme (AusRAP), heeft de voorkeur.<\/p>\n<p>De vicepremier en minister van Infrastructuur, Vervoer en Regionale Ontwikkeling, de heer Barnaby Joyce MP, kondigde de investering aan die aanzienlijke tekortkomingen aan belangrijke regionale en landelijke wegen zal aanpakken. Deze wegen beperken de toegang voor de gemeenschap, vormen veiligheidsrisico&#039;s en belemmeren de economische ontwikkeling van het omliggende gebied.<\/p>\n<p>Michael Bradley, directeur van de Australian Automobile Association (AAA), de belangrijkste brancheorganisatie voor de auto-industrie in Australi\u00eb, zei dat de regio&#039;s, ondanks dat ze slechts 28 procent van de Australische bevolking vertegenwoordigen, nu verantwoordelijk zijn voor 66 procent van de verkeersdoden in Australi\u00eb.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c&quot;De regering verdient lof voor het toekennen van nieuwe middelen aan het onderhoud van regionale wegen.
