{"id":3014,"date":"2021-12-20T00:51:20","date_gmt":"2021-12-19T13:51:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordpress.temp.irap-dev.org\/benefit-of-ai-in-proactive-road-infrastructure-safety-management-itf-findings-published\/"},"modified":"2026-04-30T12:39:48","modified_gmt":"2026-04-30T02:39:48","slug":"benefit-of-ai-in-proactive-road-infrastructure-safety-management-itf-findings-published","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/irap.org\/nl\/benefit-of-ai-in-proactive-road-infrastructure-safety-management-itf-findings-published\/","title":{"rendered":"Voordelen van AI bij proactief beheer van de veiligheid van de weginfrastructuur: bevindingen van de ITF gepubliceerd"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Bevindingen van het Internationale Transportforum (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.itf-oecd.org\/\">ITF<\/a>) 187 Rondetafelgesprekken over kunstmatige intelligentie (AI) in proactief beheer van de veiligheid van de weginfrastructuur zijn gepubliceerd, waarin het belangrijke potentieel en de rol van <a href=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/nl\/project\/ai-rap\/\">AiRAP<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>AI verlegt de grenzen van patroonherkenning tot voorbij de menselijke mogelijkheden en kan de sleutel vormen tot het identificeren van onbekende, ongevalgevoelige wegconfiguraties om levens te redden.<\/p>\n<p>De ITF AI Roundtable in februari 2021 bracht experts van 33 organisaties en 15 landen samen om de meest relevante toepassingen van kunstmatige intelligentie in de context van transportplanning voor ongevallenpreventie op een volledig wegennet te onderzoeken en vast te stellen.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.itf-oecd.org\/sites\/default\/files\/docs\/artificial-intelligence-road-infrastructure-safety-management.pdf\">Het rapport<\/a> Dit document vat de bevindingen van de rondetafelbijeenkomst samen en onderzoekt de mogelijkheid om computervisie te gebruiken voor het verkrijgen van relevante informatie en de capaciteit van computermodellen om risicovolle locaties in kaart te brengen. Aanbevelingen worden gedaan aan belanghebbenden over de ontwikkeling en het juiste gebruik van levensreddende AI-oplossingen.<\/p>\n<p>AI maakt proactief verkeersveiligheidsbeheer op twee manieren mogelijk: Ten eerste helpt het, via sensoren en systemen zoals computervisie, bij het verzamelen van gegevens over de staat van de weginfrastructuur en verkeerssituaties op het gehele wegennet. Ten tweede leert AI, door middel van voorspellende modellen, locaties op het netwerk te identificeren waar het risico op ongevallen het hoogst is. In regio&#039;s waar nauwkeurige en relevante gegevens beschikbaar zijn, kan AI gevaarlijke locaties proactief signaleren, voordat er ongevallen plaatsvinden.<\/p>\n<p>Veel mensen vinden echter dat AI de transparantie en interpreteerbaarheid van voorspellingen van traditionele statistische modellen mist. Hoewel rekenkracht breed beschikbaar is, wordt AI nu beperkt door de beschikbaarheid van data en van gekwalificeerde personen om de modellen te begeleiden. Data zijn vaak schaars omdat ze in afzonderlijke systemen worden opgeslagen in plaats van gedeeld. De auto-industrie beschikt over een aantal van de meest waardevolle data voor risicovoorspellingen.<\/p>\n<p>Het rapport beveelt het volgende aan:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ontwikkel een concurrerende markt voor het delen en monetiseren van verkeers- en mobiliteitsgegevens.<\/li>\n<li>Wacht niet op realtime data om risicokaarten te ontwikkelen.<\/li>\n<li>Het delen van geaggregeerde voertuiggegevens verplichten<\/li>\n<li>Leer van andere vakgebieden en van best practices op het gebied van gegevensdeling en privacybescherming.<\/li>\n<li>Ondersteun onderzoek en innovatie op het gebied van betrouwbare en verklaarbare AI.<\/li>\n<li>Stem nieuwe instrumenten af op concrete beleidsdoelstellingen.<\/li>\n<li>Ontwikkel nieuwe vaardigheden en digitale infrastructuur.<\/li>\n<li>Verduidelijk de regelgeving voor gegevensbescherming en digitale beveiliging.<\/li>\n<li>Ontwerp gebruiksvriendelijke tools voor risicokartering.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Het initiatief van iRAP voor versnelde en intelligente verzameling en codering van gegevens over wegkenmerken, bekend als <a href=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/nl\/project\/ai-rap\/\">AiRAP<\/a> werd opgenomen in de rondetafelbijeenkomst en komt voor in het rapport.<\/p>\n<p>AiRAP heeft de potentie om de tijd en moeite die nodig zijn voor verkeersveiligheidsbeoordelingen te verminderen, de kosten per weglengte-eenheid te verlagen, de nauwkeurigheid te verbeteren en gegevens beschikbaar te maken voor elke weg ter wereld.<\/p>\n<p>Om dit potentieel te ontsluiten, is het hoofddoel van AiRAP het verzamelen van gegevens over wegkenmerken, verkeersstromen en snelheden volgens de &quot;gemeenschappelijke wereldwijde specificatie&quot; van iRAP, en het in kaart brengen van de veiligheidsprestaties en sterrenbeoordelingen.<\/p>\n<p>AiRAP registreert de vooruitgang op het gebied van kunstmatige intelligentie, machinaal leren, visiesystemen (straat en lucht), LIDAR, telematica en andere databronnen.<\/p>\n<p>Aanbieders kunnen vertaalroutines voorstellen om machinaal verzamelde gegevens om te zetten in iRAP-compatibele gegevens, waarbij de conversie door iRAP wordt gecertificeerd.
