{"id":2142,"date":"2020-07-21T04:17:25","date_gmt":"2020-07-20T18:17:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordpress.temp.irap-dev.org\/3-star-or-better-road-policy-targets-discussed-in-thai-parliament\/"},"modified":"2026-04-30T12:37:54","modified_gmt":"2026-04-30T02:37:54","slug":"3-star-or-better-road-policy-targets-discussed-in-thai-parliament","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/irap.org\/nl\/3-star-or-better-road-policy-targets-discussed-in-thai-parliament\/","title":{"rendered":"In het Thaise parlement worden doelstellingen voor wegen met 3 sterren of beter besproken."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Eerder deze maand sprak de heer Nikorn Chamnong, voorzitter van de People Safety Foundation, directeur van de Chartthaipattana-partij en lid van het Thaise Huis van Afgevaardigden, in het Thaise parlement over iRAP en de beleidsdoelen van het 3-sterrenwegenprogramma in Thailand tijdens een debat over de begroting voor het fiscale jaar 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Met behulp van dataondersteuning van ThaiRAP was het belangrijkste doel van het debat van de heer Nikorn Chamnong om de aandacht te vestigen op het budget voor de infrastructuur voor verkeersveiligheid, teneinde de doelstellingen te bereiken. <a href=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/nl\/2018\/04\/targets-3-4-what-they-mean-for-safer-roads-globally\/\">Doelstellingen van de VN.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Bekijk de video via Facebook\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/watch\/?v=195592515180864\">hier<\/a><\/p>\n<p>In november 2018 heeft de Faculteit Ingenieurswetenschappen,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.eng.chula.ac.th\/en\/\">Chulalongkorn Universiteit<\/a>\u00a0iRAP heeft een overeenkomst getekend voor een Centre of Excellence, dat de ontwikkeling van de veiligheid van de weginfrastructuur in Thailand en internationaal zal ondersteunen.<\/p>\n<p>De expertise van de Faculteit Ingenieurswetenschappen van de Chulalongkorn Universiteit en andere lokale partners bij het opzetten van een succesvol ThaiRAP-programma kan bijdragen aan de vermindering van doden en gewonden in het hele land. Met name de eliminatie van wegen met 1 en 2 sterren voor voetgangers, fietsers en motorrijders is een prioriteit. Het behalen van de VN-doelstelling voor wereldwijde verkeersveiligheid om in 2030 meer dan 75% aan reizen over wegen met 3 sterren of beter te realiseren voor alle weggebruikers in Thailand, zal het aantal doden en gewonden in het hele land met meer dan een derde verminderen.
