It was a jam-packed week with a key focus on how countries can achieve\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/nl\/2018\/04\/targets-3-4-what-they-mean-for-safer-roads-globally\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">UN Targets 3 and 4<\/a> to save 450,000 lives by 2030 with 3-star or better road infrastructure for all road users.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>WrapUp Highlights include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Star Rating for Schools\u00a0(SR4S)\u00a0global launch<\/strong>\u00a0at the Child Health Initiative\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.childhealthinitiative.org\/my-street-sweden-2020\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">\u201cThis is My Street Safe and Healthy Journeys for Children and Youth\u201d Conference<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>2020 Innovatieworkshop<\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>co-hosted by iRAP, the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.itf-oecd.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Internationaal Transport Forum<\/a>\u00a0en\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.worldbank.org\/en\/programs\/global-road-safety-facility\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Wereldbank Wereldwijd Veiligheid op de Weg Faciliteit<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Launch of Vaccines for Roads V<\/strong>\u00a0showcasing the\u00a0tragic face and true extent of life-changing road crash injuries incurred every day.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Signing of MOUs with the Inter-American Development Bank and European Investment Bank<\/strong>\u00a0to save lives in Latin America, Europe and the world.<\/li>\n<li>Presentation of an\u00a0<strong>iRAP Global Innovation Award\u00a0<\/strong>to Sweden for their 2+1 with wire rope median road design innovation.<\/li>\n<li><strong>SR4S demonstrations\u00a0<\/strong>aan het\u00a0<strong>2nd World Youth Assembly for Road Safety,\u00a0<\/strong>the Global Alliance of NGOs for Road Safety\u00a0<strong>People&#8217;s Exhibition<\/strong>\u00a0in Stockholm Central Station and the FIA Delegation Meeting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"et-button\" href=\"https:\/\/mailchi.mp\/irap.org\/irap-wrapup-newsletter-february-2020-special-edition-sweden-2020-road-to-the-future\">Click here to read the latest newsletter <\/a><\/p>\n<p><a class=\"et-button\" href=\"http:\/\/eepurl.com\/duoHNb\">Click here to sign up for our WrapUp Newsletter <\/a><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The latest WrapUp newsletter is now available, providing a comprehensive overview from Sweden 2020.
