iRAP en de nieuw gecre\u00eberde Stichting Automobilistenclub van Chili<\/a> onlangs ontmoet bij de Automobilistenclub van Chili<\/a> (AACHI) in Santiago om samenwerking te bespreken ter verbetering van de verkeersveiligheid en initiatieven voor duurzame mobiliteit in het hele land.<\/p>\n

Julio Urzua, Global Projects Director van iRAP, en Morgan Fletcher, Operations Manager voor Latijns-Amerika, ontmoetten het AACHI-team, bestaande uit: Maria Ignacia Gonz\u00e1lez (Executive Director), Concepci\u00f3n Quintana (Director) en Gonzalo Plaza (President) van de ACCHI Foundation, en Carlos Larravide (CEO) en Alvaro Bravo (Commercial Manager) van ACCHI.<\/p>\n

De AACHI Foundation zet zich in voor het bevorderen van veilige, rechtvaardige en duurzame mobiliteit voor alle Chileense gemeenschappen en voor het verspreiden van beste praktijken op het gebied van transport en mobiliteit.<\/p>\n

De besprekingen tijdens de bijeenkomst waren gericht op het opzetten van een samenwerkingsverband tussen de twee non-profitorganisaties om programma's, projecten en initiatieven te ontwikkelen, uit te voeren en te promoten die de mobiliteit en verkeersveiligheid verbeteren.<\/p>\n

Er werden samenwerkingsmogelijkheden onderzocht voor het ontwerpen en uitvoeren van gezamenlijke projecten gericht op onderzoek naar verkeersveiligheid, beoordeling van de weginfrastructuur, capaciteitsopbouw, bewustmaking in de gemeenschap, gegevensverzameling en samenwerking met bredere initiatieven vanuit de publieke en private sector.<\/p>\n

In Chili is er de ACCHI Foundation. leidt de implementatie<\/a> van iRAP's Star Rating for Schools (SR4S) Programma<\/a>, In samenwerking met gemeenten, het ministerie van Transport en schoolgemeenschappen werken we aan het cre\u00ebren van een veiligere omgeving voor leerlingen.<\/p>\n

Daarnaast is AACHI betrokken bij de eerste Latijns-Amerikaanse piloot<\/a> van de App voor jongerenparticipatie (YEA)<\/a>. YEA is een interactief platform waarmee kinderen en jongeren gemakkelijk verkeersongevallen in de omgeving van hun school kunnen signaleren en melden, en zo bijdragen aan de bestrijding van de grootste doodsoorzaak van hun generatie: verkeersongevallen.<\/p>\n

Volgens\u00a0iRAP's Safety Insights Explorer<\/a>, Het behalen van VN-doelstelling 4, namelijk meer dan 751 ton aan reizen over wegen met 3 sterren of beter voor alle weggebruikers in Chili tegen 2030, zal naar schatting 372 levens per jaar redden en 661.727 doden en gewonden voorkomen gedurende de 20 jaar dat de wegbehandelingen meegaan, met een economisch voordeel van 1,9 biljoen dollar \u2013 6,60 dollar voor elke 1,9 biljoen dollar die wordt uitgegeven.<\/p>\n <\/div>\n \n <\/div>\n <\/section>\n\n\n\n\n
