These roads were previously evaluated by iRAP during the project preparation phase, allowing for direct pre- and postconstruction comparisons. Australia has shared the livesaving success of road safety improvements on the Oxley Highway which have reduced all severity crashes by 53 per cent and fatal motorcycle crashes by 67 per cent.<br \/><br \/><span>In 2017\/18, responding to high fatality and serious injury rates, the speed limit on the Oxley Highway between Yarrowitch and Yarras was reduced from 100 km\/h to 80 km\/h,
