{"id":64359,"date":"2023-07-04T05:46:40","date_gmt":"2023-07-04T04:46:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/irap.org\/?p=64359"},"modified":"2024-02-16T04:24:33","modified_gmt":"2024-02-16T04:24:33","slug":"itf-summit-2023-event-summary","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/irap.org\/fr\/2023\/07\/itf-summit-2023-event-summary\/","title":{"rendered":"Sommet ITF 2023 - R\u00e9sum\u00e9 de l&#039;\u00e9v\u00e9nement"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>[et_pb_section fb_built=&#8221;1&#8243; _builder_version=&#8221;4.21.0&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;][et_pb_row column_structure=&#8221;3_5,2_5&#8243; _builder_version=&#8221;4.21.0&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;][et_pb_column type=&#8221;3_5&#8243; _builder_version=&#8221;4.21.0&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221;][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.21.0&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; hover_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p>It was fantastic to be a part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/summit.itf-oecd.org\/2023\/\">ITF Summit<\/a> in May this year, seeing and reconnecting with old and new friends from all over the world.<\/p>\n<p>Our key focusses during the event were to support member countries to eliminate high-risk roads, empower transport safety insights through shared data, and financing equitable, green and safe road infrastructure world-wide and in Europe.<\/p>\n<p>The 2023 Annual Summit of the International Transport Forum (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.itf-oecd.org\/\">ITF<\/a>), took place in Leipzig, Germany, from 24 to 26 May, under the Presidency of the United Kingdom.<\/p>\n<p><em>The Summit of the International Transport Forum is the largest gathering of transport ministers and the world\u2019s premier transport policy event.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Themed Transport Enabling Sustainable Economies, the 2023 edition under the Presidency of the United Kingdom brought more than 1 200 participants from over 80 countries and 63 government delegations to Leipzig, Germany, from 24 to 26 May 2023.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The ITF team have just released a <\/em><strong>2023 Summit Highlights in Pictures <\/strong>which you can access here <a href=\"https:\/\/www.itf-oecd.org\/2023-summit-highlights-pictures\">https:\/\/www.itf-oecd.org\/2023-summit-highlights-pictures<\/a><\/p>\n<h4><strong>iRAP\u2019s involvement included:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Hosting a Financing and Delivery of Safer Roads and Streets for Europe Roundtable (closed meeting).
