{"id":5670,"date":"2024-03-20T07:56:23","date_gmt":"2024-03-19T20:56:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordpress.temp.irap-dev.org\/lane-patrol-cyclerap-assessments-underway-in-skopje\/"},"modified":"2026-04-30T15:03:02","modified_gmt":"2026-04-30T05:03:02","slug":"lane-patrol-cyclerap-assessments-underway-in-skopje","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/irap.org\/fr\/lane-patrol-cyclerap-assessments-underway-in-skopje\/","title":{"rendered":"Lane Patrol CycleRAP assessments underway in Skopje"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Factual Consulting, a trusted CycleRAP supplier, has kicked off its biggest Lane Patrol CycleRAP project to date in Skopje, North Macedonia &#8211; a safety assessment of the city&#8217;s expansive 140km of cycling infrastructure.<\/p>\n<p>Le <a href=\"https:\/\/amsm.mk\/\">Auto-moto Association of Macedonia (AMSM)<\/a>, soutenu par <a href=\"https:\/\/lanepatrol.com\/\">Patrouille de voie<\/a>\u00a0et le\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fia.com\/news\/recipients-2024-fia-safe-and-sustainable-mobility-grants-programme-announced\">F\u00e9d\u00e9ration Internationale de l\u2019Automobile (FIA)<\/a>, will complete the &#8220;Safe Cycling Lanes, Safe Cyclists&#8221;\u00a0 project supported by the FIA Grants 2024 programme.<\/p>\n<p>Utilising the CycleRAP and Lane Patrol Methodology, the risk of crashes for bicyclists and light mobility users will be analysed to identify high-risk locations and inform prioritised investment plans to improve cycling safety in the city.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/fr\/cyclerap\/\">CycleRAP<\/a>\u00a0CycleRAP est une m\u00e9thode simple, abordable et rapide d&#039;\u00e9valuation de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 des infrastructures routi\u00e8res et cyclables. Elle vise \u00e0 r\u00e9duire les accidents et \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer la s\u00e9curit\u00e9, notamment pour les cyclistes et les autres usagers de la mobilit\u00e9 l\u00e9g\u00e8re, en identifiant les zones \u00e0 haut risque sans avoir besoin de donn\u00e9es sur les accidents.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/factual-consulting.com\/\">Factual Consulting<\/a> will leverage Lane Patrol to collect geo-referenced images, code the CycleRAP attributes and calculate risk scores. The Lane Patrol mobile app, when mounted on a bike, automatically captures georeferenced images of the cycling infrastructure.
