Il a aliment\u00e9 les discussions sur la l\u00e9gislation propos\u00e9e qui obligerait les employeurs \u00e0 en fournir aux travailleurs qui utilisent des motos dans le cadre de leur travail quotidien, tels que les livreurs et les op\u00e9rateurs de flotte.<\/p>\n<p>Selon <a href=\"https:\/\/www.telenoche.com.uy\/nacionales\/proyecto-plantea-uso-obligatorio-chalecos-airbag-motociclistas-uruguay-n5384522\">donn\u00e9es de l'Unit\u00e9 Nationale de S\u00e9curit\u00e9 Routi\u00e8re (UNASEV)<\/a>, les motocyclistes repr\u00e9sentent 49 % des personnes tu\u00e9es dans les accidents de la route en Uruguay et 65 % des personnes bless\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<p>M. Azzato a pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 devant la Chambre des d\u00e9put\u00e9s le 22 mai et a fourni une explication technique d\u00e9taill\u00e9e sur la fonctionnalit\u00e9 et les avantages en mati\u00e8re de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 des syst\u00e8mes d'airbags pour motos :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Citons MAPFRE (2021), il a not\u00e9 que 24 % des blessures mortelles dans les accidents de moto touchent la r\u00e9gion thoracique \u2013 et non la t\u00eate. Bien que les casques soient indispensables, ils n\u2019offrent pas une protection int\u00e9grale.<\/li>\n<li>Les motos n'ont pas de syst\u00e8mes de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 passive tels que les ceintures de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 ou les airbags int\u00e9gr\u00e9s et, par cons\u00e9quent, les motocyclistes sont beaucoup plus vuln\u00e9rables aux forces d'impact et au transfert d'\u00e9nergie en cas d'accident.<\/li>\n<li>Les gilets airbag r\u00e9duisent les forces de d\u00e9c\u00e9l\u00e9ration subies par les zones critiques du torse lors d'un accident. En ralentissant l'impact de mani\u00e8re plus progressive, ils contribuent \u00e0 minimiser les traumatismes thoraciques et dorsaux. Les gilets airbag stabilisent \u00e9galement la zone du cou en coordination avec le casque, aidant ainsi \u00e0 pr\u00e9venir le whiplash cervical.<\/li>\n<li>La mise en \u0153uvre de gilets de protection peut donner des r\u00e9sultats imm\u00e9diats. La technologie est d\u00e9sormais facilement disponible et accessible, mais la l\u00e9gislation doit \u00e9galement exiger le respect des normes de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 des produits certifi\u00e9s.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Le travail de M. Azzato \u00e0 l'iRAP est compl\u00e9mentaire dans ce domaine, les notations iRAP fournissant une mesure objective du niveau de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 \u2018 int\u00e9gr\u00e9 \u2019 dans l'infrastructure routi\u00e8re pour les motocyclistes. Une route 1 \u00e9toile est la moins s\u00fbre, tandis qu'une route 5 \u00e9toiles est la plus s\u00fbre.
