{"id":5610,"date":"2025-05-27T01:22:12","date_gmt":"2025-05-26T15:22:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordpress.temp.irap-dev.org\/improved-road-design-safety-in-papua-new-guinea\/"},"modified":"2026-04-30T15:02:08","modified_gmt":"2026-04-30T05:02:08","slug":"improved-road-design-safety-in-papua-new-guinea","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/irap.org\/fr\/improved-road-design-safety-in-papua-new-guinea\/","title":{"rendered":"Am\u00e9lioration de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 de la conception routi\u00e8re en Papouasie-Nouvelle-Guin\u00e9e"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>La capacit\u00e9 pour des routes et des conceptions plus s\u00fbres est renforc\u00e9e en Papouasie-Nouvelle-Guin\u00e9e dans le cadre du programme d'am\u00e9lioration et de r\u00e9silience des routes montagneuses (MRIRP) financ\u00e9 par <a href=\"https:\/\/www.adb.org\/where-we-work\/papua-new-guinea\/overview\">Banque asiatique de d\u00e9veloppement (BAD)<\/a>, et soutenu par le <a href=\"https:\/\/works.gov.pg\/\">D\u00e9partement des Travaux Publics et des Routes<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/dt-global.com\/projects\/png-island-road\/\">DT Global<\/a> et <a href=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/fr\/\">iRAP<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>La formation iRAP a \u00e9t\u00e9 dispens\u00e9e \u00e0 21 ing\u00e9nieurs \u00e0 Port Moresby les 13 et 14 mai dans le cadre du Programme MRIRP, qui permettra d'am\u00e9liorer la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 des conceptions routi\u00e8res pour la mise \u00e0 niveau de la route existante selon les normes d'autoroute nationale \u00e0 deux voies, d\u00e9bloquant ainsi un acc\u00e8s commercial et communautaire vital dans le pays.<\/p>\n<p>La Papouasie-Nouvelle-Guin\u00e9e est divis\u00e9e g\u00e9ographiquement par des cha\u00eenes de montagnes traversant le pays d'est en ouest. La capitale, Port Moresby, n'est pas accessible par la route depuis le nord, les Hautes Terres, ni les grandes villes de Lae, Madang et Wewak.<\/p>\n<p>La construction d'une liaison autorouti\u00e8re Trans-\u00cele du nord au sud est une priorit\u00e9, traversant des for\u00eats sauvages pour gravir la cha\u00eene de montagnes, flanqu\u00e9e de cr\u00eates d\u00e9chiquet\u00e9es, de pentes abruptes et rocailleuses, et de plateaux occasionnels occup\u00e9s par des jardins potagers locaux.<\/p>\n<p>DT Global Asia Pacific entreprend une \u00e9tude de faisabilit\u00e9 et une conception technique d\u00e9taill\u00e9e pour une section de cette autoroute, et en utilisant la m\u00e9thodologie iRAP, la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 des conceptions routi\u00e8res pour la section de 114 km reliant Bulolo \u00e0 Nentindo sera optimis\u00e9e, am\u00e9liorant l'acc\u00e8s de Port Moresby \u00e0 Lae.<\/p>\n<p>L'\u00e9tude iRAP comprendra une \u00e9valuation de la notation par \u00e9toiles pour les occupants de v\u00e9hicules, les motocyclistes, les pi\u00e9tons et les cyclistes, ainsi que l'\u00e9laboration d'un plan d'investissement pour des routes plus s\u00fbres afin d'identifier des contre-mesures rentables qui peuvent encore am\u00e9liorer la conception afin de garantir qu'elle atteigne une note de 3 \u00e9toiles ou mieux pour tous les usagers de la route.<\/p>\n<p>Renforcer les capacit\u00e9s locales en mati\u00e8re de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 routi\u00e8re est \u00e9galement un objectif cl\u00e9. Le programme de formation, qui sera dispens\u00e9 sous forme d'ateliers en pr\u00e9sentiel et de modules d'auto-apprentissage en ligne, permettra de former jusqu'\u00e0 40 ing\u00e9nieurs et parties prenantes locaux \u00e0 l'utilisation de la m\u00e9thodologie iRAP et de l'outil Star Rating for Designs pour soutenir la mise en \u0153uvre du projet.<\/p>\n<p>Le programme aidera \u00e9galement \u00e0 cr\u00e9er une cohorte de <a href=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/fr\/accreditation\/\">iRAP Accr\u00e9dit\u00e9<\/a> des ing\u00e9nieurs capables d'aider \u00e0 rendre les routes du pays plus s\u00fbres \u00e0 long terme.<\/p>\n<p>Une fois construite, la Trans Island Highway b\u00e9n\u00e9ficiera consid\u00e9rablement aux int\u00e9r\u00eats commerciaux et aux communaut\u00e9s locales de Papouasie-Nouvelle-Guin\u00e9e, qui ne seront plus contraints d'utiliser des services maritimes ou a\u00e9riens co\u00fbteux pour traverser le pays.<\/p>\n<p>Le premier sous-secr\u00e9taire du D\u00e9partement des travaux et des routes, charg\u00e9 des conceptions, M. Benjamin Panga, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 dans ses remarques finales : \u201c Ce projet et la formation iRAP associ\u00e9e seront un \u00e9l\u00e9ment essentiel pour garantir que nous maximisions les r\u00e9sultats en mati\u00e8re de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 pour tous les usagers de la route le long du corridor du projet.
