The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.who.int\/teams\/social-determinants-of-health\/safety-and-mobility\/decade-of-action-for-road-safety-2021-2030\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/www.who.int\/teams\/social-determinants-of-health\/safety-and-mobility\/decade-of-action-for-road-safety-2021-2030\">Global Plan<\/a>, adopted in 2021, aims to inspire national and local government, as well other stakeholders who can influence road safety, while they develop their own road safety action plans and targets.<\/p>\n<p>This 5-part webinar series will focus on safer road infrastructure recommendations of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.who.int\/teams\/social-determinants-of-health\/safety-and-mobility\/decade-of-action-for-road-safety-2021-2030\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/www.who.int\/teams\/social-determinants-of-health\/safety-and-mobility\/decade-of-action-for-road-safety-2021-2030\">Global Plan<\/a>, sharing knowledge, tools and case studies that will help countries eliminate high-risk roads, unlock the economic benefits of 3-star or better roads, and meet global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and United Nations (UN) Target obligations.<\/p>\n<p>The series combines two capacity building initiatives:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Le <a href=\"https:\/\/www.roadsafetyfacility.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/www.roadsafetyfacility.org\/\">World Bank Global Road Safety Facility (GRSF)<\/a> &amp; <a href=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/\">iRAP<\/a> <em>Helping Save Lives: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.org\/public-health\/improving-road-safety\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.org\/public-health\/improving-road-safety\/\">Initiative Bloomberg Philanthropies pour la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 routi\u00e8re mondiale (BIGRS) <\/a>2020-2025<\/em> series, which aims to introduce iRAP for those who want to use the methodology to help eliminate high-risk roads and share case studies of initiatives supported by GRSF and BIGRS. Previous webinars in this series have been delivered for <a href=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/fr\/2020\/11\/new-webinar-series-world-bank-and-irap-helping-save-lives-in-latin-america-bigrs-2020-25\/\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/2020\/11\/new-webinar-series-world-bank-and-irap-helping-save-lives-in-latin-america-bigrs-2020-25\/\">Latin America<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.roadsafetyfacility.org\/events\/bigrs-indiarap-webinar-world-bank-and-irap-helping-save-lives-indian-roads\">Inde<\/a> et <a href=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/fr\/2021\/07\/bigrs-africa-online-series-world-bank-and-irap-help-to-save-lives-on-african-roads\/\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/2021\/07\/bigrs-africa-online-series-world-bank-and-irap-help-to-save-lives-on-african-roads\/\">Afrique<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>The Road Safety Capacity Building Programme (RSCBP) is a series of online modules supported by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.adb.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/www.adb.org\/\">Banque asiatique de d\u00e9veloppement (BAD)<\/a> et<a href=\"https:\/\/www.aprso.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/www.aprso.org\/\"> Observatoire de la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 routi\u00e8re de l\u2019Asie-Pacifique (APRSO) <\/a>and delivered with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grsproadsafety.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-cke-saved-href=\"https:\/\/www.grsproadsafety.org\/\">Partenariat mondial pour la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 routi\u00e8re (GRSP) <\/a>and iRAP.
