{"id":2393,"date":"2021-02-11T22:23:50","date_gmt":"2021-02-11T11:23:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wordpress.temp.irap-dev.org\/technical-update-new-vida-features-feb-2021\/"},"modified":"2026-04-30T12:38:01","modified_gmt":"2026-04-30T02:38:01","slug":"technical-update-new-vida-features-feb-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/irap.org\/fr\/technical-update-new-vida-features-feb-2021\/","title":{"rendered":"Technical update: New ViDA features"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We are constantly working to improve the iRAP tool suite and, based on the feedback we have received, we are pleased to announce two new features that have been added to <a href=\"https:\/\/vida.irap.org\/\">ViDA<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>ViDA users can now invite new people and share data with them. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Have you ever wanted to share your data in ViDA with someone, but they didn\u2019t have an account?<\/em> This new feature enables you to send an email invite from ViDA with access to your data already granted.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/GF4W-7JRv5U\">Watch short video here on how to invite new users on ViDA<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Points to note:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>If the invite is not accepted, the email for the invited person will only retained in ViDA for 30 days (to ensure GDPR compliancy).<\/li>\n<li>If two (or more) users invite the same person they will have permissions for both invites (unless one has expired).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Ability to display Dataset summary information on ViDA Results page<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Have you ever wondered when data in ViDA was collected or what it represents?<\/em> An \u2018i\u2019 icon has been added next to datasets on the Results page filter.
