Ces nouveaux objectifs ont \u00e9t\u00e9 officiellement salu\u00e9s par l&#x27;Assembl\u00e9e g\u00e9n\u00e9rale des Nations unies dans la derni\u00e8re r\u00e9solution de l&#x27;ONU sur la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 routi\u00e8re, adopt\u00e9e le 12 avril \u00e0 New York. \u00a0Ces objectifs consistent notamment \u00e0 garantir que toutes les nouvelles routes soient construites selon une norme de 3 \u00e9toiles ou sup\u00e9rieure pour tous les usagers de la route (objectif n\u00b0 3), et \u00e0 ce que, d\u2019ici 2030, plus de 75% de d\u00e9placements s\u2019effectuent sur des routes \u00e9quivalentes \u00e0 une norme de 3 \u00e9toiles ou sup\u00e9rieure pour tous les usagers de la route (objectif n\u00b0 4).<\/p>\n<p>Rob McInerney, PDG de iRAP, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que ces objectifs constituaient une avanc\u00e9e majeure pour sauver des vies et pr\u00e9venir les blessures graves sur des routes plus s\u00fbres \u00e0 l&#x27;\u00e9chelle mondiale, en fournissant un indicateur commun, mondial et fond\u00e9 sur des donn\u00e9es probantes, auquel tous les pays peuvent aspirer et \u00e0 l&#x27;aune duquel ils peuvent \u00e9valuer la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 de leurs investissements.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cL'annonce de ces objectifs met en \u00e9vidence le <a href=\"http:\/\/resources.irap.org\/General\/iRAP%20Global%20Policy%20Case%20Study%20FINAL.pdf\">succ\u00e8s<\/a> que de nombreux \u00c9tats membres de l'ONU ont du mal \u00e0 fixer des objectifs de classement par \u00e9toiles pour les routes nouvelles et existantes, et comment l'application de m\u00e9triques mondialement reconnues et fond\u00e9es sur des donn\u00e9es probantes renforce la confiance des tr\u00e9soriers, des gouvernements, des gestionnaires de routes et du public dans les investissements routiers plus s\u00fbrs. .<\/p>\n<p>L'institution et la mise en \u0153uvre des objectifs mondiaux aideront \u00e9galement \u00e0 atteindre les objectifs de d\u00e9veloppement durable de l'ONU <a href=\"https:\/\/sustainabledevelopment.un.org\/sdg3\">r\u00e9duire de moiti\u00e9 le nombre de d\u00e9c\u00e8s et de blessures dans le monde<\/a> (cible 3.6); <a href=\"https:\/\/sustainabledevelopment.un.org\/sdg9\">investir dans les infrastructures<\/a> pour cr\u00e9er de la croissance et des emplois (objectif 9.1) et assurer que <a href=\"https:\/\/sustainabledevelopment.un.org\/sdg11\">Le transport est s\u00fbr et durable<\/a> (cible 11.2).<\/p>\n<p>Le <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vaccinesforroads.org\/business-case-for-safer-roads\/\">Analyse de rentabilit\u00e9 du programme iRAP pour des routes plus s\u00fbres<\/a> fournit une estimation globale de haut niveau du nombre de vies humaines et de bless\u00e9s graves qui pourraient \u00eatre \u00e9pargn\u00e9s, ainsi que des avantages sociaux et \u00e9conomiques li\u00e9s \u00e0 l\u2019optimisation de la part des d\u00e9placements effectu\u00e9s sur des routes class\u00e9es 3 \u00e9toiles ou plus d\u2019ici 2030. Atteindre plus de 75% de trafic sur des routes class\u00e9es 3 \u00e9toiles ou plus d\u2019ici 2030 permettra de sauver environ 467 000 vies chaque ann\u00e9e et d\u2019\u00e9viter 100 millions de d\u00e9c\u00e8s et de blessures graves sur les 20 ans que dureront ces mesures. Un investissement cibl\u00e9 de tous les pays dans la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 routi\u00e8re, \u00e0 hauteur de 0,1 \u00e0 0,21 TP8T du PIB par an jusqu\u2019en 2030, permettra d\u2019obtenir ce r\u00e9sultat exceptionnel, avec 1 TP9T8 de b\u00e9n\u00e9fices pour chaque 1 TP9T1 investi.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la mise en \u0153uvre g\u00e9n\u00e9ralis\u00e9e de traitements d'entretien de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 \u00e0 faible co\u00fbt, \u00e0 des investissements bien cibl\u00e9s dans de nouvelles infrastructures et \u00e0 des am\u00e9liorations de qualit\u00e9 3 \u00e9toiles ou mieux, et \u00e0 des vitesses plus s\u00fbres sur le r\u00e9seau routier mondial, nous pouvons atteindre les objectifs et sauver des vies \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle \u201d, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 M.
