It was organized by Tempulli Academia and Kosovo Association of Motorization (AMRKS), supported by the Kosovo Insurance Bureau and convened more than 120 participants and over 20 local and international experts in the field of Transport and Traffic who participated as presenters.<\/p>\n<p>Olivera Rozi from the EuroRAP Management Committee presented EuroRAP\u2019s support for road safety in Europe. Olivera focused on the explanation of iRAP\u2019s Star Rating model and highlighted also iRAP\u2019s Training and Accreditation system. A lot of interest was drawn also by EuroRAP\u2019s and EIRA\u2019s (European Institute of Road Assessment \u2013 EuroRAP; EuroRAP\u2019s subsidy company) transnational projects: project\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.interreg-danube.eu\/approved-projects\/radar\"><em>RADAR \u2013 Risk Assessment on Danube Area Roads<\/em><\/a>\u00a0successfully finished towards the end of 2021 and project\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.interreg-danube.eu\/approved-projects\/sabrina\"><em>SABRINA \u2013 Safer Bicycle Routes in Danube Area<\/em><\/a>\u00a0which is focusing on safer bicycle infrastructure on long-distance EuroVelo routes in Danube Area, which runs until the end of 2022.<\/p>\n<p>The conference conclusions include: \u201cGovernment institutions are requested to approve the relevant legislation and to open legal base for the development of Kosovo\u2019s road scheme and their classification according to the stars of safety standards. These actions are already possible as EuroRAP has licensed AMRKS from Kosovo as a local partner for the implementation of the National Road Safety Action Plan according to the criteria and safety standards of European protocols.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The 8th Annual International Conference \u201cSmart Mobility \u2013 The Future of Sustainable and Green Transport\u201d was held in hybrid mode on 20th January 2022.
