Road traffic crashes cause frequent trade and traffic disruption.<\/p>\n<p>Cambodia stakeholders gathered in July last year for a <a href=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/2022\/06\/cambodia-stakeholders-gather-to-shape-ten-year-plan\/\">National Road Safety Consultation Workshop<\/a> to shape the country\u2019s National Plan for the Decade to 2030. iRAP was pleased to provide input.<\/p>\n<p>Partner-led iRAP activity has already assessed 558km of roads in 2016 under the Cambodia-China Friendship Road Safety Project including N1, N3 and N4. The assessments have influenced the safety of USD$77 million of infrastructure investment.<\/p>\n<p>Six schools have also been assessed using the <a href=\"https:\/\/starratingforschools.org\/\">iRAP Star Rating for Schools application<\/a> to inform safer school journeys for local children.<\/p>\n<p>Road safety capacity is growing.
