Las mejoras son vitales para conectar las capitales de los aimags occidentales de Mongolia con sus principales corredores este-oeste que vinculan el pa\u00eds con la Rep\u00fablica Popular China y la Federaci\u00f3n Rusa.<\/p>\n<p>Como parte del proyecto, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kocks-ing.de\/en\/\">Kocks Consult GmbH<\/a> se encarg\u00f3 a iRAP que evaluara la seguridad del dise\u00f1o propuesto de mejora de la carretera para una secci\u00f3n de 140,8 km de la ruta Uliastai-Altai utilizando la metodolog\u00eda de calificaciones de estrellas de iRAP.<\/p>\n<p>El an\u00e1lisis se basa en una evaluaci\u00f3n inicial de la carretera existente realizada en 2023, lo que permite un an\u00e1lisis de seguridad antes y despu\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>La incorporaci\u00f3n de las recomendaciones de evaluaci\u00f3n iRAP al dise\u00f1o mostr\u00f3 mejoras impresionantes en la seguridad vial:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Mayor seguridad <\/strong>para los ocupantes de veh\u00edculos y motociclistas mediante la pavimentaci\u00f3n y ampliaci\u00f3n de carreteras, la implementaci\u00f3n de barreras en la carretera, una mejor delimitaci\u00f3n con se\u00f1ales de advertencia avanzada y marcadores instalados en curvas importantes, condiciones m\u00e1s seguras en la carretera y una gesti\u00f3n eficaz de la velocidad en lugares cr\u00edticos.<\/li>\n<li>A <strong>Reducci\u00f3n del 51,71 % en el n\u00famero previsto de lesiones mortales y graves (FSIs)<\/strong> - previniendo un estimado de 118 ca\u00eddas en ancianos en 20 a\u00f1os.<\/li>\n<li><strong>La calificaci\u00f3n de seguridad aument\u00f3 dr\u00e1sticamente. <\/strong>Si bien la carretera actual tiene, en su mayor parte, una calificaci\u00f3n de 1-2 estrellas (riesgo muy alto), el 100% del tramo de la obra de mejora alcanza una calificaci\u00f3n de seguridad de 4 estrellas o superior para los ocupantes de los veh\u00edculos (incluido el 83%, que alcanza la m\u00e1xima calificaci\u00f3n de seguridad de 5 estrellas). En cuanto a los motociclistas, el 961 % de la longitud del proyecto alcanza una calificaci\u00f3n de seguridad de 4 estrellas, el 2,11 % alcanza una calificaci\u00f3n de 5 estrellas y el 2,11 % alcanza una calificaci\u00f3n de 3 estrellas.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Excede el m\u00ednimo de 3 estrellas <\/strong>calificaci\u00f3n de seguridad requerida tanto por el BAD como por el Objetivo de Desempe\u00f1o 3 de Seguridad Vial Mundial de las Naciones Unidas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Resultados de la clasificaci\u00f3n por estrellas: Dise\u00f1o frente a la carretera existente (L\u00ednea de base).
