Las evaluaciones de las carreteras en seis regiones muestran que la mayor\u00eda carece de aceras, pasos de peatones y velocidades seguras, con menos del 11 % de las carreteras que cuentan con carriles bici y solo el 20 % que cumple las normas b\u00e1sicas de seguridad para los peatones. A pesar de ello, solo el 15 % de los pa\u00edses del mundo da prioridad a la seguridad de los usuarios vulnerables de la v\u00eda p\u00fablica en sus pol\u00edticas nacionales.<\/p>\n<p>El Informe \u2018Viajes Activos M\u00e1s Seguros: Abordando un Punto Ciego Mundial\u2019 busca combatir y arrojar luz sobre el \"punto ciego\" de la seguridad vial en las pol\u00edticas.<\/p>\n<p>Exige medidas pol\u00edticas urgentes para abordar los problemas de seguridad que enfrentan los usuarios vulnerables de la v\u00eda p\u00fablica a trav\u00e9s de pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas efectivas.
