M45 Euroglosa (Spain)<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/embed\/feed\/update\/urn:li:ugcPost:7268045597033537536\" height=\"806\" width=\"800\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"\" title=\"Publicaci\u00f3n incrustada\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>David Diaz, Aleatica&#8217;s Global CEO, commented: &#8220;Safety on our roads is our top priority, as we are committed to contributing to reducing fatalities and serious injuries, in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). And he added: &#8220;Today we can proudly say that 8 of our concessions are certified as achieving three stars or more for safety and that we are the first company in the sector to achieve iRAP Certification for multiple assets in multiple countries. This obliges us to continue working to ensure that at least 75% of Aleatica&#8217;s infrastructure achieves three stars or more by 2030 in line with UN Target 4&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/es\/2024\/05\/700000-lives-deaths-and-serious-injuries-saved-john-hopkins-report\/\">An independent study by Johns Hopkins University<\/a> revealed that iRAP partners have saved approximately 700,000 lives and injuries from 2016 through the end of 2024 by investing in safer road projects informed by the evidence-based iRAP methodology.<\/p>\n<p>Rob McInerney, CEO of iRAP, said: &#8220;Tragically, more than 3,200 people lose their lives on the roads every day. Road crashes are the leading cause of death among young people. We know that road infrastructure rated 3-star or better in safety saves lives and prevents injuries, but sadly less than half of the roads assessed globally meet this standard. Aleatica&#8217;s leadership and commitment to achieving this goal is to be applauded.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Global commitment<\/strong><br \/>Additionally, Aleatica pledged to continue working on improving its infrastructure and therefore signed the global, <a href=\"https:\/\/pledge.irap.org\/\">Compromiso # para Carreteras M\u00e1s Seguras<\/a>, an initiative by iRAP, the FIA Foundation and the International Road Federation (IRF) to eliminate high-risk roads worldwide.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/651A4970_900.jpg\" alt=\"651A4970_900\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>iRAP Safer Journeys Lead for the Americas Edgar Zamora and Aleatica&#8217;s Global Director of Road Safety Antonio Pinilla sign the #SaferRoadsPledge<\/em><\/p>\n<p>With the signing of this commitment, the Australian-based company joins leading road design, financing and advocacy organisations from 60 countries who have committed to safer roads and mobility by 2030.<\/p>\n<p>This initiative seeks to engage organizations involved in road design and financing to commit to creating safer infrastructure to assess progress in the implementation of the Global Plan for the Decade of Action for Road Safety 2021-2030 and build support for a new vision of safe and sustainable mobility.
