Los temas clave de discusi\u00f3n fueron el desarrollo de un tipo de choque de impacto trasero para el modelo iRAP Star Rating y la comprensi\u00f3n del rendimiento de las carreteras de alta velocidad y alta clase.<\/p>\n<p>El GTC reporta directamente a la Junta de iRAP y est\u00e1 compuesto por expertos de las principales agencias mundiales de investigaci\u00f3n y seguridad vial, incluyendo el Instituto Mexicano del Transporte, ARRB NTRO (Australia), Beijing Zhongjiaohuaan Technology (China), el Instituto de Investigaci\u00f3n de Seguridad Vial de Malasia (MIROS), TRL (Reino Unido), el Instituto SWOV de Investigaci\u00f3n de Seguridad Vial (Pa\u00edses Bajos), la Global Road Safety Facility (GRSF), Labtrans (Brasil), la Universidad Nacional de Se\u00fal (Corea), la Universidad de Chulalongkorn (Tailandia) y la Universidad Estatal de Iowa (EE. UU.).<\/p>\n<p>El Director T\u00e9cnico Global de iRAP, James Bradford, dijo: \u201cEl GTC es importante porque proporcionan la gobernanza de los protocolos iRAP, asegurando que sean s\u00f3lidos, cient\u00edficamente fundamentados y adecuados para su prop\u00f3sito\".<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLa reuni\u00f3n fue realmente beneficiosa porque proporcion\u00f3 una profunda visi\u00f3n de la intensa investigaci\u00f3n que TRL est\u00e1 llevando a cabo para comprender la relaci\u00f3n entre los choques por alcance\/colisiones traseras y la infraestructura vial.
