Like many life-saving charities working in the public health arena, we use a robust, evidence-based approach to reduce the likelihood of deaths and serious injuries.<\/p>\n<p>iRAP works in partnership with governments, road authorities, mobility clubs, development banks, NGOs and research organisations to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Inspect high-risk roads and develop Star Ratings, Risk Maps and Safer Roads Investment Plans<\/li>\n<li>Provide training, technology and support that will build and sustain national, regional and local capability<\/li>\n<li>Track road safety performance so that funding agencies can assess the benefits of their investments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Las herramientas de iRAP se han utilizado en m\u00e1s de 140 pa\u00edses para evaluar la seguridad de unos 4,2 millones de kil\u00f3metros de calles, carreteras y autopistas, y han influido en proyectos de dise\u00f1o y construcci\u00f3n por un valor superior a 1,2 billones de euros.
