The main objective was to provide an introduction to the <em>IAyYo<\/em>\u00a0program as well as launch the YEA App with instructions on how to use it.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Raise your voice: A Youth Engagement App for safer mobility\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La YEA ofrece a los j\u00f3venes una forma eficiente de identificar e informar sobre condiciones de carreteras de alto riesgo, brind\u00e1ndoles una plataforma para que sus voces sean escuchadas. A trav\u00e9s de la aplicaci\u00f3n, los funcionarios gubernamentales recibir\u00e1n datos como recomendaciones pr\u00e1cticas para implementar intervenciones de seguridad vial efectivas y basadas en evidencia. Esto facilitar\u00e1 la identificaci\u00f3n de puntos negros para un an\u00e1lisis m\u00e1s profundo que determine las calificaciones de estrellas para las zonas escolares.<\/p>\n<p>The trainings were facilitated by MOT &amp; iRAP\u2019s leading technical experts in their field:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Shanna Lucchesi, Project Coordinator, iRAP<\/li>\n<li>Rafaela Machado, <a href=\"https:\/\/starratingforschools.org\/\">Star Ratings for Schools<\/a> Global Coordinator, iRAP<\/li>\n<li>Mr. Le Van Thanh, Special list, Infrastructure Department, MOT<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wordpress.temp.irap-dev.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/52518858555_835c14e067_c.jpg\" alt=\"52518858555_835c14e067_c\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wordpress.temp.irap-dev.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/52518858760_7e0205c848_c.jpg\" alt=\"52518858760_7e0205c848_c\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wordpress.temp.irap-dev.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/52518379811_fe240ddc27_c.jpg\" alt=\"52518379811_fe240ddc27_c\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/wordpress.temp.irap-dev.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/52517902392_599da498b9_c.jpg\" alt=\"52517902392_599da498b9_c\" \/><\/p>\n<p>As a result of the training, the teachers will be better equipped to use the YEA app and play an active role in providing training to 1800 students from 18 pilot schools to use it. In turn, it is then these students that will raise their voices for streets for life.
