height: 47px; background-color: #d4cfcf;\">\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/es\/training\/\">https:\/\/irap.org\/training\/<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a style=\"font-family: inherit; font-size: inherit;\" href=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/es\/accreditation\/\">https:\/\/irap.org\/accreditation\/<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<p>En el pr\u00f3logo del informe, el Honorable Edward Katumba-Wamala, Ministro de Obras P\u00fablicas y Transporte de Uganda, reconoci\u00f3: \u201cEl n\u00famero de accidentes y muertes por accidentes en nuestras carreteras sigue siendo inaceptablemente alto, con un estimado de 12.589 y 4.159 respectivamente, seg\u00fan lo informado en el Informe Anual de Tr\u00e1fico y Delincuencia de la Fuerza Policial de Uganda (UPF) en 2021.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cM\u00e1s de la mitad de estas muertes se producen entre usuarios vulnerables de la v\u00eda p\u00fablica: peatones, pasajeros, ciclistas y motociclistas. Por lo tanto, mejorar la seguridad vial es fundamental para lograr el desarrollo sostenible y la lucha contra la pobreza.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEl Gobierno est\u00e1 comprometido y ya ha comenzado a implementar diversas medidas para mejorar la seguridad vial en colaboraci\u00f3n con otras partes interesadas. El Plan Nacional de Acci\u00f3n para la Seguridad Vial se ha elaborado en consulta con todas las partes interesadas pertinentes para establecer un esfuerzo coordinado para la implementaci\u00f3n de medidas de seguridad vial durante los pr\u00f3ximos cinco a\u00f1os, como herramienta orientadora para contribuir a la prevenci\u00f3n y reducci\u00f3n de accidentes de tr\u00e1fico para el a\u00f1o 2018.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUganda est\u00e1 comprometida con la implementaci\u00f3n de las medidas necesarias para alcanzar ese objetivo y nos comprometemos a trabajar con todas las partes interesadas en el Gobierno, el sector privado y las organizaciones no gubernamentales al iniciar la segunda d\u00e9cada de acci\u00f3n para la seguridad vial, actuando con audacia y decisi\u00f3n durante la implementaci\u00f3n de acciones basadas en evidencia y en consonancia con el Plan de Acci\u00f3n Mundial sobre Seguridad Vial 2021-2030\u201d, explic\u00f3 el Sr. Katumba-Wamala.<\/p>\n<p>Este es el primer Plan de Acci\u00f3n Nacional de Seguridad Vial de cinco a\u00f1os para Uganda, correspondiente al segundo per\u00edodo de la Acci\u00f3n Global 2021-2030. Al finalizar el per\u00edodo de cinco a\u00f1os, se realizar\u00e1 una revisi\u00f3n y, con base en sus conclusiones, se elaborar\u00e1 un nuevo plan de acci\u00f3n para el resto de los a\u00f1os hasta 2030.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"et-button\" href=\"https:\/\/resources.irap.org\/CRM\/Africa\/2022_Uganda_National_Road_Safety_Strategy_2021-2026.pdf\">Descarga la nueva estrategia de Uganda.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>iRAP y sus m\u00e1s de 180 socios locales en Uganda ya han evaluado 2.577 km y 110 km de dise\u00f1os y 3 escuelas, influyendo en la seguridad de m\u00e1s de USD$150,8 millones de inversi\u00f3n en infraestructura vial. M\u00e1s de 48 personas han sido capacitadas en eventos realizados en el pa\u00eds y casi 200 han recibido capacitaci\u00f3n en l\u00ednea. Siete profesionales ya est\u00e1n <a href=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/es\/accreditation\/\">Acreditado por iRAP<\/a> para apoyar la consecuci\u00f3n de las acciones y los resultados de la Estrategia Nacional.<\/p>\n<p>De acuerdo a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vaccinesforroads.org\/irap-big-data-tool\/\">Explorador de informaci\u00f3n sobre seguridad de iRAP<\/a>, lograr m\u00e1s de 75% de viajes en carreteras de 3 estrellas o mejores para todos los usuarios de la carretera para 2030 en Uganda podr\u00eda salvar aproximadamente 5.314 vidas cada a\u00f1o y m\u00e1s de 1,8 millones de vidas y lesiones graves durante los 20 a\u00f1os de vida de los tratamientos con un beneficio econ\u00f3mico de m\u00e1s de USD$14.4 mil millones, un asombroso $55 por cada $1 gastado.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Uganda-BCR.jpg\" alt=\"Uganda BCR\" \/><\/p>\n<p>La metodolog\u00eda iRAP es gratuita para que todos los pa\u00edses la utilicen, con nuestra\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/es\/2020\/09\/are-you-developing-your-next-road-safety-action-plan\/\">Indicadores clave de rendimiento (KPI) de infraestructura global<\/a> Proporcionar la hoja de ruta pol\u00edtica y las m\u00e9tricas recomendadas para medir el \u00e9xito.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Uganda se suma a la creciente lista de pa\u00edses que establecen objetivos de seguridad vial de 3 estrellas o superiores en sus estrategias nacionales y regionales de seguridad vial, proyectos de infraestructura vial y planes de financiaci\u00f3n.
