El 991% de las carreteras evaluadas no contaban con un carril exclusivo para motocicletas que separara los veh\u00edculos de dos ruedas motorizados del resto del tr\u00e1fico vehicular, un problema particular en los pa\u00edses de ingresos bajos y medianos, donde las motocicletas constituyen un porcentaje significativo del parque automotor en las carreteras.<\/p>\n<p><b>Di\u00e1logo de GRRSO sobre seguridad en veh\u00edculos motorizados de dos ruedas \u2013 11 y 12 de octubre<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Del 11 al 12 de octubre, APRSO y OISEVI coorganizar\u00e1n un programa h\u00edbrido e interactivo de expertos sobre seguridad vial para motociclistas en pa\u00edses de ingresos bajos y medianos (PIBM), con especial atenci\u00f3n a aquellos donde la motocicleta es el principal medio de transporte por carretera. Este programa brindar\u00e1 una oportunidad \u00fanica para abordar los problemas que afectan a pa\u00edses y ciudades donde los veh\u00edculos de dos ruedas motorizados (V2M) son la forma predominante de transporte. Un aspecto clave del evento ser\u00e1 la realizaci\u00f3n de una serie de di\u00e1logos sobre algunos de los desaf\u00edos m\u00e1s importantes que enfrentan los profesionales y defensores de la seguridad vial para motociclistas. Expertos internacionales de primer nivel interactuar\u00e1n directamente con los participantes para identificar intervenciones basadas en la evidencia que permitan abordar la inaceptable p\u00e9rdida de vidas humanas por accidentes de motocicleta en los PIBM.<\/p>\n<p><b>Reuni\u00f3n anual de APRSO \u2013 13 de octubre\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n<p>La Reuni\u00f3n Anual del Observatorio de Seguridad Vial de Asia y el Pac\u00edfico (APRSO) se celebrar\u00e1 el 13 de octubre. APRSO es un foro regional sobre datos, pol\u00edticas y pr\u00e1cticas de seguridad vial. Su mandato es mejorar la protecci\u00f3n de la vida humana en las carreteras de Asia y el Pac\u00edfico mediante la generaci\u00f3n de datos s\u00f3lidos sobre seguridad vial, la realizaci\u00f3n de an\u00e1lisis y el desarrollo de pol\u00edticas para acciones de seguridad vial en los pa\u00edses miembros de Asia y el Pac\u00edfico.
