CycleRAP es un m\u00e9todo f\u00e1cil, asequible y r\u00e1pido para evaluar la seguridad de la infraestructura vial y ciclista. Su objetivo es reducir los accidentes y mejorar la seguridad espec\u00edficamente para ciclistas y otros usuarios de movilidad ligera mediante la identificaci\u00f3n de ubicaciones de alto riesgo sin necesidad de datos de accidentes.<\/p>\n

CycleRAP se puede utilizar en cualquier parte del mundo y servir\u00e1 de base para herramientas de software que se emplean para localizar y mapear los lugares donde es probable que se produzcan accidentes de ciclistas y de veh\u00edculos de movilidad ligera.<\/p>\n

El modelo utiliza datos sobre las caracter\u00edsticas de una carretera, calle o sendero para evaluar el riesgo de accidentes para ciclistas y usuarios de movilidad ligera, independientemente del tipo de instalaci\u00f3n (o de si est\u00e1 en la carretera o fuera de ella) y para todos los tipos de accidentes.<\/p>\n

Esta herramienta est\u00e1 destinada a ser utilizada por las autoridades de transporte y las organizaciones involucradas en la elaboraci\u00f3n o promoci\u00f3n de instalaciones m\u00e1s seguras para ciclistas y usuarios de otros veh\u00edculos de movilidad ligera.<\/p>\n
