No obstante, iRAP recopila datos sobre los flujos de tr\u00e1fico, los l\u00edmites de velocidad, las velocidades medias y las velocidades del percentil 85. El SMAT reutiliza estos datos para identificar en qu\u00e9 lugares los l\u00edmites de velocidad y las velocidades del tr\u00e1fico son inadecuados para los niveles de riesgo de la carretera.<\/p>\n<p>El equipo de TRL est\u00e1 colaborando estrechamente (aunque de forma remota) con la polic\u00eda de tr\u00e1fico, las autoridades viarias y otras partes interesadas en materia de seguridad en Nepal, Fiyi y Ghana para desarrollar la forma en que la herramienta puede implementarse en pa\u00edses de ingresos bajos y medios (PIBM) con el fin de proporcionar una base basada en datos para la gesti\u00f3n de la velocidad. La herramienta SMAT genera resultados intuitivos, que ayudan a explicar los problemas relacionados con la velocidad a personas sin conocimientos especializados; adem\u00e1s, proporciona informaci\u00f3n compleja para ayudar al personal t\u00e9cnico a desarrollar respuestas espec\u00edficas destinadas a reducir la velocidad. Esto significa que el potencial de escalabilidad del SMAT es considerable.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDentro de este proyecto, estamos desarrollando enfoques para aplicar eficazmente los beneficios de SMAT de TRL en pa\u00edses de ingresos bajos y medianos (PIMB) para ayudar a las partes interesadas a gestionar mejor todos los aspectos de las velocidades en sus redes, en l\u00ednea con el enfoque del Sistema Seguro. En colaboraci\u00f3n con los profesionales de cada pa\u00eds, tambi\u00e9n elaboraremos materiales de apoyo para mejorar la comprensi\u00f3n de por qu\u00e9 la rapidez es clave, c\u00f3mo gestionarla y c\u00f3mo aplicar el SMAT de forma eficaz\u201d.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>El proyecto de evaluaci\u00f3n SMAT es entregado por TRL y cuenta con el apoyo del Grupo Banco Mundial a trav\u00e9s de su Fondo Mundial para la Seguridad Vial (GRSF), gracias al Programa de Subvenciones de la Ayuda del Reino Unido.
