Esto se demuestra en las siguientes im\u00e1genes de evaluaci\u00f3n:<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/N34a-1024.jpg\" alt=\"N34a 1024\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/NH01-1024.png\" alt=\"NH01 1024\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/NH08-1024-FNL.jpg\" alt=\"NH08 1024 FNL\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/NH08-Budhang-1024.jpg\" alt=\"NH08 Budhang 1024\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Los Planes de Inversi\u00f3n en Carreteras M\u00e1s Seguras, preparados como parte del proyecto, han identificado soluciones de infraestructura para mejorar las Calificaciones Estrella, reducir la frecuencia y gravedad de los accidentes de tr\u00e1fico y prevenir muertes y lesiones graves.<\/p>\n<p>Las contramedidas recomendadas incluyen la provisi\u00f3n de barreras de seguridad en la carretera y aceras, la duplicaci\u00f3n de la carretera o la adici\u00f3n de carriles con una barrera central, mejoras en la se\u00f1alizaci\u00f3n y en las intersecciones, y la instalaci\u00f3n de medidas de calmado del tr\u00e1fico.<\/p>\n<p>Se han elaborado tres posibles planes de inversi\u00f3n para su consideraci\u00f3n; el m\u00e1s completo de ellos muestra que, con una inversi\u00f3n de 25 400 millones de NPR (1 420 millones de USD), el n\u00famero de v\u00edctimas mortales y heridos graves en la red de carreteras estrat\u00e9gicas evaluada podr\u00eda reducirse hasta en un 60 %, lo que supondr\u00eda evitar unas 57 734 v\u00edctimas mortales y heridos graves a lo largo de 20 a\u00f1os. La relaci\u00f3n coste-beneficio global ser\u00eda de 1,3 de beneficio por cada 1,1 gastado.<\/p>\n<p>DOR ahora busca acreditar a su personal en este proceso. La capacitaci\u00f3n de iRAP para el personal de DOR ha comenzado y se llevar\u00e1 a cabo un proyecto piloto adicional de 500 km para desarrollar la capacidad local en la gesti\u00f3n y realizaci\u00f3n de evaluaciones sistem\u00e1ticas de seguridad vial utilizando la metodolog\u00eda iRAP.<\/p>\n<p>El Proyecto de Demostraci\u00f3n del Corredor Seguro tambi\u00e9n se llevar\u00e1 a cabo, incluyendo un estudio de viabilidad de los tratamientos identificados y la preparaci\u00f3n de dise\u00f1os viales evaluados para la seguridad antes de la construcci\u00f3n utilizando <a href=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/es\/star-rating-for-designs\/\">Valoraci\u00f3n por estrellas para dise\u00f1os<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Garantizar la provisi\u00f3n de instalaciones seguras para peatones, ciclistas y otros modos no motorizados en las ciudades y pueblos de Nepal permitir\u00e1 el crecimiento en modos de transporte activo y el logro de los objetivos ambientales y de salud p\u00fablica relacionados.<\/p>\n<p>El Departamento de Carreteras es responsable de incorporar medidas de seguridad adecuadas durante la construcci\u00f3n y el mantenimiento de aproximadamente 13.000 km de la Red Estrat\u00e9gica de Carreteras, que sirve como columna vertebral para la integraci\u00f3n f\u00edsica y econ\u00f3mica del pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n<p>Bajo el Ministerio de Infraestructura F\u00edsica y Transporte (MoPIT), la DOR tambi\u00e9n es responsable de la planificaci\u00f3n, construcci\u00f3n, gesti\u00f3n de proyectos y mantenimiento de las carreteras nacionales, carreteras alimentadoras y carreteras urbanas de importancia estrat\u00e9gica.<\/p>\n<p>Desde 2014, iRAP y sus socios locales han llevado a cabo una serie de evaluaciones, y se estima que se han destinado 1 468,44 millones de d\u00f3lares estadounidenses a inversiones en seguridad vial basadas en las evaluaciones de iRAP.<\/p>\n<p>Nepal est\u00e1 atravesando una transici\u00f3n hist\u00f3rica hacia una rep\u00fablica federal y laica.
