We will announce the selected applicants on 27 July 2021<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Our #RAPcommunity is made up of just over 20% females and we are keen to encourage women to contribute to save lives around the world on our roads.<\/p>\n<p>This year, as part of the International Women in Engineering Day (Wednesday 23 June), you will see a few initiatives from iRAP that will benefit and encourage women to be part of our #RAPcommunity, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>celebrating women making a difference in road safety as part of the\u00a0International Women in Engineering Day campaign \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/es\/international-women-in-engineering-day-recognising-engineeringheroes-in-road-safety\/\">click here for more information<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>selecting 20 women to take our <a href=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/es\/2020\/07\/self-paced-training-irap-star-rating-essentials-5-part-video-series\/\">Lo esencial de las valoraciones con estrellas<\/a> y <a href=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/es\/2020\/07\/self-paced-training-iraps-star-rating-for-designs-4-part-video-series\/\">Valoraci\u00f3n por estrellas para dise\u00f1os<\/a> courses for free.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The aim of this grant is to benefit 20 women with a background in engineering to take the <a href=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/es\/2020\/07\/self-paced-training-irap-star-rating-essentials-5-part-video-series\/\">Lo esencial de las valoraciones con estrellas<\/a> y <a href=\"https:\/\/irap.org\/es\/2020\/07\/self-paced-training-iraps-star-rating-for-designs-4-part-video-series\/\">Valoraci\u00f3n por estrellas para dise\u00f1os<\/a> cursos.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>iRAP will select 20 women that fit in the criteria below:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tengo experiencia en ingenier\u00eda.<\/li>\n<li>No se ha beneficiado de un proyecto iRAP en los \u00faltimos 5 a\u00f1os.<\/li>\n<li>Tendr\u00e1 el mejor uso del conocimiento adquirido.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you think you fit these criteria, please complete the following form to apply by COB 7 July 2021. We will announce the selected applicants on 27 July 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Please contact iRAP\u2019s Training and Accreditation Coordinator via email training@irap.org if you have any questions.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, during the application you will need to answer the following questions:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Why would you like to learn more about iRAP methodology and how do you plan to use the information you learn?<\/li>\n<li>What do you expect to learn with these courses?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Make sure you get in quickly as there are only 20 positions available.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a class=\"et-button\" href=\"https:\/\/app.smartsheet.com\/b\/form\/d190a08bd2a3407c9658f6f9577c5c73\">Apply for the training grant now (English)<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a class=\"et-button\" href=\"https:\/\/app.smartsheet.com\/b\/form\/cb32066e00574f0aacf1b963a3374a85\">Solicita la beca de formaci\u00f3n ahora (Spanish)<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a class=\"et-button\" href=\"https:\/\/app.smartsheet.com\/b\/form\/45a00570e1c14e399afd277198007300\">Inscreva-se para o subs\u00eddio de treinamento agora (Portuguese)<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a class=\"et-button\" href=\"https:\/\/app.smartsheet.com\/b\/form\/fc5e0910503544c99327e0b9ea195471\"> Demander la bourse de formation maintenant (French)<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>*Terms and Conditions*<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please read the following Terms and Conditions.<\/p>\n<p>The iRAP women in engineering grants applicant understands and agrees to the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>iRAP will select 20 women to have access to the Star Rating Essentials and Star Rating for Designs courses for free.<\/li>\n<li>The selected women will:\n<ul>\n<li>Tengo experiencia en ingenier\u00eda.<\/li>\n<li>Justify a good use of the acquired knowledge.<\/li>\n<li>Are not a beneficiary from other iRAP projects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>This application is subject to iRAP selection procedures.<\/li>\n<li>iRAP reserves the right to refuse the application.<\/li>\n<li>Completion of the application process does not guarantee approval of the application.<\/li>\n<li>If selected for the grants, the applicant agrees to undertake the course activities and submit the assignments to complete the courses.<\/li>\n<li>If selected for the grants, the applicant agrees to complete the courses within 6 months from the announcement of the results.<\/li>\n<li>iRAP may suspend or revoke the Grants at any time at its discretion.<\/li>\n<li>The applicant agrees with iRAP to use the content of its application to promote the Grants programme.<\/li>\n<li>If selected for the grants, the applicant agrees to report six-monthly to iRAP on how she is using the iRAP methodology to improve the roads in his or her country.<\/li>\n<\/ul>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>UPDATE: Applications are now closed.
